Quest: Become a Ranger

Become a Ranger is a quest for joining the Archet Rangers. This is the only appearance of Captain Woodgate outside the Twilight and Shadow quests, however it's required to access them.

The quest is located in any town or village with a pub and a forest.

Background

You join the Archet Rangers.

Requirements

• You must be a High Penguin or Scroot.

OR

• Define yourself as Archetian, Freezelandian or Archetian-Europhic.

The Quest

Objective One

Talk to the Archet Ranger in the pub.

• Enter the pub.
• Go to the bartender and ask if you can talk to the Ranger.
• Go to the Ranger's table.
• Get the Ranger a drink.
• Talk about where you can join.

Objective Two

Find Captain Woodgate.

• Go to the forest.
• Talk to the Ranger stationed there. He will give you a map to find their camp.
• Follow his instructions to get to their camp.
• Enter their camp and talk to Captain Woodgate.

Objective Three

Talk to Captain Woodgate on Joining

• He will confirm if you want to join. Say yes.
• He will hand you an uniform.
• The quest is over.

Next Quest

Since it isn't part of any storyline, there isn't any quest. However some quests require you to have done this quest and become an Archet Ranger.

• This is the only appearance of Woodgate outside the Twilight and Shadow quests.
