Região Lisboaguesa, or in English, Lisboagese Region, and also called Lisboagese Antarctica by others, is Lisboagal's last remaining overseas province. It is located on the Antarctic Mainland, and it consisted of the land that was once the former Viking Empire.

Historically, the Regiao Lisboaguesa was part of the Land of Asgard when it was first settled about four thousand years ago, and stayed part of Asgard, with the temporary rule of Land of Lord Guin, until the region was conquered by the Penguin Empire in 102 BC. The Penguin Empire did not drive out the Viking Penguin towns that they had captured, but they did force them to comply with their culture by learning Latin, which was the official language. The fall of the Penguin Empire split the region in half, part of it becoming part of Damelaw, and the other part became part of the High Penguin Confederacy. Nevertheless in the end, the whole region was under the HPC's control. In 1913, the region became part of the Good Guys side during the Khanzem War, and eventually dissolved into the Water Kingdom. At this point, many Viking Penguins began re-settling the area again. Although the region was specified for the Adelie Penguins during Colonial Antarctica, most of the Viking Penguins stayed in the region and lived together with their new inhabitants. The Region immediately became part of the Revolutionists side of the Colonial Antarctica war, and it eagerly became part of the strong Antarctic Peninsula. Previously, this land was originally part of the Antarctic Peninsula, under the USA's reign. The Great Snowzerland War I gave the Vikings control over the region in 2010, and it became part of the old Viking Empire. The Viking Empire lasted only for a short while, when it was conquered by the Castillans, and the city of Frostize was ceded back to Liguria. The remaining parts of the region was donated generously to Lisboagal to help improve it's economy.

The Lisboagese Region is very diverse as it borders the sea to the north, and the Hochstadt Canyon to it's south. It's coastal are home to rocky beaches and several cliffs where several clustered villages lay. The middle area of the territory is mainly flat with a few hills, also with several Lisboaguese villages. The Lorraine River (known to the Lisboaguese as the Lora) runs through the center of the territory, which brings fertile soil and an abundance of farms that grow wheat, grapes, olives, apples, O-berries, cherries, nuts, barley, and corn. The more inland area of the territory is known to be more thicker in forest and has sparse villages and towns inside. The Hochstadt Canyon cuts the territory off from the USA territory of Trans-Antarctica. Regiao Lisboaguesa seperates the Antarctic Peninsula from Freezeland and the Happyface State as well.

See Lisboaguese Culture.

Regiao Lisboaguesa's culture is very similar to the mainland and does not provide strong differences, as many of them have immigrated to the region only just recently, while the remaining population has converted to speaking Portuguese and has adopted the Lisboaguese way of life. The territory has replaced the old Viking Empire town layouts with Lisboaguese town layouts and architecture. The Regiao eats similar food products as the mainland although they sometimes tend to also enjoy food that comes from their neighbors, the USA and Freezeland. Regiao Lisboaguesa is known for it's small sparse population as it is a farming dominated society. Farms come in several different sizes, some are extensively large while others are small. The smaller farms tend to be around the decent sized villages that are equally spread out and are easily accessible by road and freeway, since many of the roads and freeways of the old Viking Empire still remain. Like the mainland, the Regiao's town and village homes are built close together around a large plaza home to a telenacle. Lisboaguese Architecture is reminiscent to Castillan architecture, but the Lisboaguese are known for using more china painted tiles to design their walls than the Castillans and some Lisboaguese buildings are known for not being as well maintained as Castilla as well. Lisboaguese also tend to build more with stone and prefer terracotta roofs in the chape of a very low-lying square pyramid. Most inhabitants of a town or a village know each other as communities are close and penguins and puffles alike tend to take a stroll at night where they chat with others. Many citizens of the territory are known to be laid back and helpful with tourists and newcomers. Although the Lisboaguese culture has permeated the territory, it remains to stay behind the scenes in the city of Las Puffles, which has been deemed as an international city and little Lisboaguese culture can be seen on the strip, although the main city itself has been influenced. Like the motherland, the Regiao enjoys to play traditional music in its streets occasionally. Typical traditional Lisboaguese instruments tend to be the Guitar, Mandolin, Accordeon, and sometimes the castanets, and they are often seen played by a musician in a town square who usually plays music as a second hobby and for extra money. Most of the younger generations in the Regiao listen to typical modern Music from the English speaking portion of the mainland Antarctica and the Motherland.

  • Lisboagal is one of the only countries, besides Liguria, to have a legal overseas territory on the Antarctic mainland.
  • Frostize is not part of this territory; the city and it's nearby countryside was ceded back to Liguria.
  • The United States of Antarctica is still trying to get this land back from Lisboagal, with little success so far.
