Background[edit]
In 2009, the Famous Meeting of CP was going on. Rockhopper knew he had to come. However, when his ship came into the Beach. He brought one thing in his catalog (It was free, too)... DRUMROLL... the Dark Red Puffle. However, he rushed to the town, into the Gift Shop, onto the roof, and attended the meeting. He asked G to build him a robot of himself, so G did.
Involvement[edit]
RockhopperBot went around the island giving away Rockhopper's backround. Hovever, a penguin threw a snowball at him and he malfunctioned, causing his titanium-clad head to pop up, his 9001 volt jet pack to pop out, and his CPU panel to appear. Now he's in G's labratory getting tested and worked on. G accidentally pulled the green wire and RockhopperBot's batteries flew out. (Now known as his signature move Battery Flare.)

- In canonical CP, Rockhopper is often controlled by a computer program instead of a real player. When he is, the false Rockhopper is referred to as a "bot".
- RockhopperBot is a meta-parody of this false Rockhopper.
- Battery Flare is a parody of Shaymin's Seed Flare.
