The Rub Network, commonly known as just The Rub or just Rub, is a well-known cable TV channel of Antarctica. It was launched in 2004 by Freezebro, originally made up of mostly ads for their toys, and later that year, their first show, Transporters, premiered.
History[edit]
In mid 2004, Freezebro launched The Rub Network in a general category, basically ads and news about their company. About that time, John Gills pitched a show based off of the Transporters franchise which premiered later that year. Walt Icey's Action Figure Story movie which featured Mr. French Fry Head as a main character was turned into a series of shorts in 2006. In 2010, Transporters was relaunched into Transporters: Generation 2, and at that time Lauren Frost had also pitched a show based on the My Little Equiffle toyline, which had attracted many adult fans, currently the Rub Network's most popular show.
