Clockwise from top right: Allied tanks advancing in Antarctica, a Snowinian city being bombed, Osterrean and Magyarian fighter jets in a joint assault, Royal Puffish Navy vessels in the Weddell Sea, an Ed Islandian stealth fighter taking off, the Snowviet Eastern Surface Fleet in its final battle.

The STINC War, at the time referred to as the Antarctic War of Liberation or War of Olde Antarctica, was a large conflict between the Allied Forces (primarily the Bridgestadt Pact and the Puffish Commonwealth) and STINC-zachal, primarily supported by the Snowviet Union and Zhou. Regarded as the final escalation of the False War, the STINC War was the largest military conflict in Antarctica since the Khanzem War, and saw the first combat use of a large amount of technologies developed during the False War.
This conflict was also the first use of the term "Allies," the alliance here referred to as the Allied Forces.
By 1990, tensions due to the False War had reached the boiling point between the members of the Bridgestadt Pact and the Socialist Bloc. Each side, armed with enough ballistic missiles to turn the opposing powers into little more than craters, was itching for the war to end the conflict. This conflict eventually came after the forces of STINC, backed by the Snowviet Union and Zhou, overthrew the kingdoms of Olde Antarctica and either killed or drove out the remaining leadership.
The Archipelagoan Front is notable for being almost entirely fought on the seas between joint Ed Islandian-Puffish fleets and the outnumbered Ruscan Surface Fleets. As Snowviet naval doctrine heavily favored ballistic missile submarines, the surface fleets were no match for true naval powers and were typically sunk before any true harm could come to Allied fleets. Perhaps most famously was the Snowviet Eastern Surface Fleet's complete annihilation at the hands of the Allied naval forces in a single battle, dealing a tremendous blow to Snowviet morale. Much of the remaining conflict was spent playing cat-and-mouse throughout the archipelago for the remaining Western Surface Fleet capital ship Admiral Nevzorov and its escort, with the capital ship ultimately sunk by Ed Islandian torpedo bombers in late November. The Snowviet submersible fleet, however, inflicted massive damage across Allied fleets, as neither Ed Island nor Puffle'and possessed effective submarine hunting tactics.
It had been previously determined that the Antarctic Peninsula was the most vulnerable region of the Antarctic continent, as previously witnessed in the Khanzem War where The Good Guys were able to advance to the South Pole with relative ease. Not learning from past mistakes, the Water Kingdom had neglected constructing fortifications of any kind, allowing for Allied coastal invasions with little casualties. STINC forces had only managed to construct rudimentary machine gun concrete bunkers along the coast, the majority of which were destroyed by Frankterran battleships acting as naval artillery.
Farther inland, however, STINC forces were equipped with top-of-the-line Snowviet main battle tanks and artillery, making further troop movements incredibly difficult as it became apparent how exactly STINC managed to conquer the entire continental mainland. Through a combination of artillery fire and troop advances, STINC soldiers were able to advance through anything less than a fortified bunker.
The Snowinian Front was the costliest front in terms of civilian losses, with almost daily Snowviet bombings acting as reprisals for Snowinian gains throughout the territory of Ucrying. As the majority of Snowinian forces were tied up elsewhere across the continent, little could be done aside from the various ground defenses such as anti-aircraft cannons and surface-to-air missile batteries throughout the nation.
Much of these attacks acted as a catalyst for the 1996 Snowinian Civil War, as much of the population saw the Nationalist government as weak due to their failure to protect the nation from attack, and that the government was more focused on the conquest of Ucrying rather than their own citizens. For Snowiny, however, the breaking point as was then Francisco Ferinco took power in 1993, a mad, hubristic dictator who passionately hated communism. He promised reprisal for what the Snowviets did and to punish the successor state Rusca. The penguins revolted in opposition to Ferinco's agenda. It is also important to note pro-Ruscan sentiment was very high in the country at the time, and some organizations estimate 62% of all Snowinns had positive feelings towards Rusca and Ruscan cultural influence.
The end of the STINC War saw a massive decline in military armament across Antarctica as nations felt the fatigue from almost a half-century of tension.
Treaty of Schipol
Moderate reparations were placed on the Ruscan Federation and Zhou, blaming them for the overthrow of Olde Antarctica by STINC forces.
- Dismantlement of STINC-zachal as a sovereign entity.
- STINC to be internationally recognized as a terrorist organization.
- Recognition of Snowinian sovereignty over the territory of Ucrying.
- Pay 5% of all total GDP until 2000 to the Snowinian government to be put towards the reconstruction of areas bombed in mainland Snowiny and Ucrying.
- Dismantlement of the Ruscan Surface Fleets; ships displacing over 5,000 tons were to be confiscated and granted to Osterreach or Magyaria.
- Immediate return of the island of Prusca to South Alemania.
- In place of the existing agreement with Puffle'and, the territory of Honk Gong would instead hold a referendum in 1997 to choose between continued Puffish rule, transfer to Zhou, or independence.
- Hold immediate reunification talks with South Alemania, with complete unification within 18 months.
- Payments ended in 1994 due to the ongoing Snowinian Civil War.
- The name "Kaitlyngrad" was not used once within the treaty.
- The United States of Antarctica studied Allied battle plans for several months in 2000 in order to determine proper defense for the nation. Learning greatly from Allied sea landings, the Antarctic Peninsula is now one of the most heavily fortified regions in the nation.
