Sharks are a type of fish. They live in the waters of Club Penguin. Sharks are predatory animals, meaning that they hunt for their food, which consists of animals with a lot of fat (blubber), such as seals, whales, and ('gulp') Penguins.
Background[edit]
Sharks are native to Antarctica. They don't have a good reputation with the animals they sometimes eat, but the sharks are necessary to the ecosystem, helping to balance out the food chain. Sharks have no enemies except for orcas, who eat shark.
Appearance[edit]
Common sharks are large, grey fish. Small sharks are the size of three or four penguins, while the largest sharks are almost as large as ten normal penguins! Sharks do not have bones for a skeleton, the have cartilage. They also have several rows of sharp teeth.
Involvement[edit]
Sharks enjoy feasting of penguins as much as penguins like eating fish, which is why penguins are trying to figure out a way to keep the sharks out of the beaches. Some ways are trying to put chemicals in the water which repel sharks. A cleaner way is to put electromagnetic charges which will tingle the shark's sensory organs and cause them to go away.
Jellyfish use sharks as beasts of burden. Many farmer jellyfish use sharks to pull their plows and to round up fish. However, crabs enjoy pinching sharks, which make them angry and do their job wrong. Sharks also are used to pull carriages as a way of transportation, but now 75% of Jellyfish own cars. Sharks don't like eating jellyfish because they have no fat and have painful stingers.

Trivia[edit]
- Sharks like eating worms too. In fact a shark will eat just about anything, like crabs, clothing, and garbage. But not jellyfish.
- Sharks eat organisms with lots of fat because they need the fat to survive in the frigid waters. (also because fat taste good)
- Sharks are not apex predators and are preyed upon by killer whales.
