Showdown is the fifth single to be released and the thirteenth track on Superstar. The song features R&B, rapping, clapping, a catchy beat and a fast tempo.

Background[edit]
The song was the fifth track to be released. Meaghan, Cadence and Ethan wrote the lyrics and gave it to Angie as another surprise song. Meaghan produced it himself and they kept it for her album as a surprise song for Angie. This song was inspired when Angie watched many basketball games while she was in the cheerleading squad section and sometimes things don't go as excepted as stated by Cadence. Angie stated: "This song is about how t keep things flowing in the showdown of a game." One minute of the song was leaked in September 1 as a sneak peek but the source became confidential on the Internet and wasn't spread. The song was uploaded to Angie Hillss' official PengTube channel on September 9 2013. It got over 6 thousand views on the same day. She uploaded the music video of Showdown and 24 hours later, it was the ninth video to reach 1 million views.
Angie Hills has performed this song several times. At "'The Superstar Tour"', her outfit was an american flag top, american flag shorts with a golden belt and american flag high heels. Her hair was loose and had a tiara similar to Wonder Woman. The setting was a boxing stadium and stairways with fireworks on the rails. When its Meaghan's part, her outfit was a Tel Al Phon dress and her hair was up in a ponytail with a Tel Al Phon hair elastic.

I've got to say, its a cool R&B song by Angie Hills. I think its so excellent to have R&B in your songs. She can put R&B pop music into that song - it's cool, right? I heard about this song, I searched it on Pengtube and gave it a thumbs up. Could this song be a hit? Can Angie Hills gain fame for this song? It was one of the best songs ever. Its not only R&B all the way but it was so cool.

Chart performance[edit]
The song charted at number 1 in South Pole City on September 9 2013 and remained number 1 for two weeks. It was in the Top 40 for 55 weeks, and in the Top 100 for 60 weeks. On the same day, it charted number 1 in Club Penguin and remained number 1 for five weeks. It remained in the Top 100 for 77 weeks. On September 11 2013 it charted number 1 in UnitedTerra and stayed their for two weeks, number 3 in the USA, number 1 in Freezeland, number 11 in Antarctica, number 1 in Puffle'and and number 5 in Dorkugal. It stayed in the Top 40 for more than 20 weeks in all charts.
