"Frozen" characters[edit]
This effect happens at the end of every chapter, to emphasize the character's expression and to make it more dramatic. The character "freezes" and becomes black and white, and lights appear behind him.
Gennaro dies in front of Bolt.
Carmen deduces that Bolt is responsible for Gennaro's death.
Bolt invites Carmen to his house.
Mona sees Bolt and Carmen together.
Lily finds out that Gabriel is Thomas.
