Snowdon International Airport is the main international airport of the city of Snowdon and Puffle'and. It has two runways, Runway 25/7 and Runway 18/36.The airport is located 11 miles outside of the city's downtown core. It has one terminal, and is served by four airlines, MammothAir, Club Penguin AirFlights, Air Antarctic and CP Airways, seasonally, due to government restrictions. The airport is a hub for PuffleAir, a puffle airline,which provides domestic services around the country.
History[edit]
Snowdon International Airport was built in 1929 as a small military airfield near a small hamlet. The airport was expanded and converted into a civilian airport in the 1940s. Over the years the airport grew to become one of the busiest airports in Antarctica.

Facilities[edit]
The airport is consisted of one main terminal, with 16 gates, 8 of which are only seasonally operated. The airport is located 11 miles outside of the main city center. The airport has free baggage claim services, and has jetways like most international airports. The airport has four waiting lounges and one PuffleClub operated by PuffleAir. The airport has a border clearence services to mainly puffles and sometimes to penguins during seasonally operated international flights. The airport also has a large team of officers at the security checkpoint.
