The Sparilo Building is a Brutalist-style four-story building located on Mattress Village's main street. The building is propreited by the Polaris SAD, and formerly the City of Polaris. The Sparilo Building is the tallest building in the city, standing at 60 feet tall. The Sparilo Building is also the largest building in Mattress Village in terms of lease-able space, at 3,875, the largest unit being 1000 sq. feet, three 500 sq. foot suites, two 350 sq. foot suites, a 400 sq. foot suite and the smallest being a mere 250 sq. feet. The Sparilo Building is named after Sparilo Oil Company, who currently owns the entire building. The Sparilo Building was also known as the Barsell Building, namesake of it's architecture. The Sparilo Building, according to a recent 2011 survey shows only 11% of Unonians approve of the building and it's presence in the Village.
The Sparilo Building also generates 25% of Mattress Village's electric power using 8 solar panels positioned on the roodtop of the Sparlo Building.

Polarian proprietorship and presence[edit]
Sparilo Oil Corporation[edit]
The Sparilo Oil Corporation maintains a Branch Office, one of 456 in the USA, and 341 internationally. The Sparilo Oil Company occupies the one-thousan square-foot suite, located on the third floor. The Sparilo Oil Corporation provides 95% of all natural gas and all petroleum flowing into the Uno Valley. The Sparilo Oil Corporation is managed by Oliver Danton, a hardline conservative, middle-aged penguin, who was born in Penguville. Clandestinely, Danton is a zealous liberal from Polaris. He manages 9 workers, only seven of whom work in the administrative office.
The two service technicians have only completed three-fourths of secondary education, and are poorly trained. The Sparilo Oil Company uses undertrained technical staff to compensate for damage done to Polaris by Unonians. Sparilo employs rusty, 50-year old gas tanks to store natural gas for every dwelling and building in Mattress Village. The oil tanks are reached by a network if 110-year old pipes, as Unonian government officials are reluctant to improve conditions. The branch office creates 7 jobs for the community and 345,000 Fish into MV per year.
Federal Republic of Polaris Representative Office[edit]
In 2011, the Government of the Polaris SAD (now the FR Polaris) opened the Representative Office to represent the interests in terms of conslar and economic relations between Mattress Village and Polaris. The Board of Censors has ordered the closure of the Representtaive Office, but was overruled by an Antarctic Court. The Polarian Diplomatic Representative in the Mattress Village Representative Office is Wilman Garamond, who seems to act like an anti-Polarian, conservative penguin, but is truly a left-wing zealot. There are also 7 other Polarian diplomats are present in the facility as well.
In addition to representing the consular and economic interests of Polaris, the Office also issues Antarctic passports and visas under a treaty btetween The USA and Polaris, and also issues passports, visas and consular documents for the Yow Kingdom and to the Archipelago Union.
