Starbound

Prologue

Twelve gray feathered individuals stood in the eerie black silence of the void which enveloped them completely and the only light emanated from the doorknob leading in through a massive purple building standing erect on the base of the large gray platform upon which the group of penguins stood. The leader of the penguins, one of the shorter ones, reached out for the doorknob while the rest of the group stood nearby and watched him silently. His flipper just barely brushed against it when there was a sudden flash of green light and a towering black figure appeared before the penguins. It's black wings spread widely as it soared up and slashed it's sword through the building. The only robotic penguin in the group quickly equipped the transportalizer from her sylladex and tossed it onto the floor, activating it immediately. The rest of the penguins quickly rushed towards the teleporter and transportalized themselves to a meteor traveling through the farther reaches of outer space. The transportalizer disappeared as soon as the last of the penguins escaped, leaving Aradia and her Aradiabots behind to deal with their new opponent.

Elsewhere in the universe, a new planet began to form. The Game modified it to the code by the leader of these aforementioned penguins, who, at an earlier date, had programmed and set a course of genetics to create a new species. His main influence which will be unknown by these creatures would be their caste system. He had made it so that they wouldn't judge one another based off the color or their blood, but rather the quality of their character. Thus was the dreams and ideas of this young alien penguin, who for the most part had spent most of his life hiding the mutant color of his own blood from others, for the society he lived in was harsh and unforgiving towards even the slightest of differences in one's being, most often that being the hue of the blood which course through their veins. However, his dreams were not to be, for the new planet soon came up with systems of hierarchy and oppression. People and nations clashed and many innocents were killed in the process. Finally, there came a time of peace which everyone hoped would last for decades to come. While change began to circulate around the globe and individuals were learning to accept other cultures, the alien and his friends who had a hand in creating them would still be flying off somewhere, searching for a means to end the game which had brought about the ruin of their own planet and reach this new one. Meanwhile, four kids grew up alone on it, with the exception of their guardians of course. They each grow up in different circumstances but meet online on a chatting application on their computers and become the best of friends. The aliens spend their time on the meteor overlooking these four and observing them as they grew up, but despite their efforts to troll them, they make no other attempt to contact them. One day however, all that would change...
