Puffalian Government System |
Superiorism is the belief that a nation should be ruled by the thoughts and morals of its leader, who was "divinely chosen" by them. It states that the leader has divine wisdom, and his morals should be followed by the people. It is now a defunct ideology and is no longer used by any nation in Antarctica. However, some radicals still hold Superiorist beliefs and try to advocate for Superiorism. Puffalia was the only sovereign nation to use Superiorism as a ruling government system.
Origins[edit]
The idea for Superiorism came when a Ruscan government official came to see Hans, one of Puffalia's three presidents. He said that communism was a flawed idea, and that a leader needed to lead from his own moral beliefs, and to let the population know that they are good morals.
Implication[edit]
Superiorism works under the ideology that if a country's leader does good things, the people will do good things in turn. It's a pretty flawless idea, right? Wrong. Hans had a plan, and wanted to overthrow the other two presidents so he'd be the sole one in power. Then, with his sleazy and suave sweet-talking, he could convince and indoctrinate the population into believing anything he says; and that his morals were flawless. He'd also tell them that he was "divinely chosen" by a higher power.
The Pyramid[edit]
The pyramid is more than just a symbol of Superiorism; it's basically how the whole thing works. The undisputed leader makes the rules based on his inner beliefs, opinions, and morals. The distributors' jobs are to indoctrinate the locals into believing this. And the citizens follow commands as such.
The top tier is the leader of the nation. He makes the decisions. The middle tier is the one of the Distributors. Their job is to brainwash and indoctrinate the citizens. The bottom tier is the poor and innocent residents who are indoctrinated into believing anything their leader tells them.
Collapse[edit]
Superiorism was generally considered obsolete after Puffalia was defeated and dissolved in the Frosian War. Almost all adherents to Superiorism were Puffalians, all of which were rounded up and either killed, enslaved and converted, or imprisoned for life. Thus, most of Antarctica declared Superiorism was a thing of the past, despite the fact that there are still a handful of Superiorist advocates who were not Puffalian.
Reception and Criticism[edit]
Many countries across Antarctica call it as communism under a different name. They state that Superiorism is just communism with a mix of Juche in it. However, Puffalia denies this. Even the communist countries of Antarctica don't like this system, as it "wussifies" communism.
Trivia[edit]
- This is somewhat of a ripoff of the ancient Chinese Junzi Ideology.
- Some political critics say that Superiorism hints traits of fascism and Naughtzeeism.
- Allied governments are cracking down on outspoken advocates of Superiorism, and have been for a while.
