Official USA Presidential Vote (Complete)

This is the official USA Presidential elections among users of the wiki, to determine who the USA's president will be from 2017-2021. Candidates may be added by users (until October), or removed only by Administrators. Users may change their vote any time until the vote closes in November, but may only vote for one candidate. Also, information written in articles about the election should be based on this vote, showing that this vote is the actual election results (because... it is).

No new users/accounts may vote, to deter anyone from trying to do something stupid like make sockpuppet accounts. If you are caught trying to cheat the system (democracy), your vote(s) will be removed and you will be banned until the election is over. Read about the candidates on the election page or their individual pages.

Established new users such as Wikipenguino45 and Penguinpuffdude are an exception to the above rule, as it was made to prevent sockpuppets.

If a Fair Game candidate wins, a discussion will take place after the vote to decide who their Vice President shall be. The community will reach consensus through a discussion instead of a standard vote. If a non-fair game candidate wins, the user who has OOC rights over that character shall decide their VP.

Instead of a vote, this decision will be made through consensus. ---DISCUSSION NOW CLOSED---

So, Megg shall be the next president of the USA. But, since CP has no other public bloggers at the moment... who should be her Vice President? For the next two weeks or so we'll all talk back and forth, or debate, on this page about who we think would be the best option for VP and why. Hopefully by the time two weeks is up most of the community will have a good idea of who the VP should be and we all can agree.

If and/or when CP gets more bloggers again like Megg, we can consider making them the new VP, or just members of Megg's cabinet. However at the moment that are none, so my suggestion for vice-president is Happyface141. Out-of-universe he was one of our most influential users and is often considered one of the "real" founders of the wiki along with TurtleShroom. In-universe it makes sense, because Happyface was a politician, being the former King of the Kingdom of Happyface141, and later the Governor of the Happyface State. In addition, in-universe he initiated the Impeachment of Mariothemovie which overthrew Pearface who was essentially a lazy dictator, only a few days before the HF State joined the nation, so those that disliked Pearface or liked Billybob would also like HF. If he's chosen we could say his popularity and support is what pushed Megg over the limit and won them the presidency instead of Tenorio.

Tenorio could become VP, but it doesn't make much sense since they have opposite beliefs, and I would much rather have another Treasurer Election like 2008 where Tenorio decides to run for treasurer after losing the Presidential election, and wins to a Clinton Parody (maybe a better name than Canary Hilton though?). The treasurer option also works in my opinion for Tenorio since he's a businessman irl and in Fanon. CK^{Sysop/BOBmaster?} 01:36, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

First of all, I would like to compliment CK for this great consensus idea. It's a great idea that should be implemented on the Council as well and many other votes we would have.

Second, I think Happyface should be the Vice President of the United States of Antarctica with Tenorio as the treasurer. Tenorio as treasurer to represent the IRL election of President Trump (... If there's a treasurer election, it'd pretty much be a parody of the Donald vs Hillary US election, like the 2008 Treasurer Elections were a parody of the 2008 US election. So, it'd be Donal vs someone (probably a made up Hillary parody), and he'd win. As for secretary, what do you mean? Secretary of State, of Defense, the Environment, etc etc? Think about this: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were President and Vice-president at one time, and they were of differing political parties. Firstly, Dave, Mcdonalds, I don't think you guys know what consensus means. This isn't a vote where you say "I'm for!" then leave or go "(this guy) for vice president, enough said!". Give your arguments for and against. Why should they be vice president? Do you think they have any cons? Then another user should reply and a debate of some sort should start.

My stance on the "Page Ownership"

Seeing as a lovely revert war disrupted my morning, here's my view on the whole issue of page ownership.

You have here a private page for an article that's not yours. As expected you're going to have people clamoring to edit here because in all technicality, the USA is everyone's article. You're also kind of selecting the most powerful head of state on this wiki, so I think it's justifiable that other people edit it. This page, from my understanding, is a parody over the election, and I don't think personal political belief should change what is the actual outcome. Get the outcome of the election IRL first, then apply the fanon-side part of it once they're over.

We may decide via community vote who's going to win this, but I'm 95% sure it's going to be a CP mod, so either Spike, Polo, or Megg. It could be a user made character, but there's nobody that the community likes enough (if it were Kwiksilver or Explorer or something, then sure). Polo left CP as mayor in 2015, representing his leave from CP so I don't mind him being VP. However, Spike and Megg are both still there, so I feel like one of them should win. So, as of September 7th, 2016, Spike Hike has retired from CP and Disney. I can personally say this was quite unexpected to me. But, with that comes a question for this election. Should Spike announce he's not going to run for a second term as the USA's president or what? It would make sense that Spike isn't the winner now, since Spike won't be the head of CP anymore in 2017, similar to how he took over from Billybob in 2012. However, that also leaves an interesting problem because Megg seems to be the only CP "blogger"/main CP staff left.

The thing is, I don't think Spike is going to tell us who that is- he said on twitter, the CEO is "us" (the players), because the game has always revolved around us or something. Moving forward

I added a lot to the "background", but the page could use more images. I removed outdated or plain wrong information, and I'd say the "electoral map" is wrong since I'm writing it as if it's the popular vote instead of an electoral vote like the actual USA has- not everything has to be a parody. If enough people have a problem with it they can say so here and I'll change it- even if people want an electoral vote though that electoral image's numbers are way off. I didn't really change much of McD's tables yet, I'm not exactly sure what to do with them yet... and I also didn't add an infobox since Infobox election seems to be messed up- I might add the event infobox or something. As for the specific percentages, I gave Megg and Donal 38 and 36 to be similar to Donald and Hillary's (a little over) 46 and (almost) 48) percent, while still having a tiny bit of room for the other candidates. If anybody thinks the percentages should be changed, feel free to say so here. Also, more cities could be added to the "Primaries" section to describe how the important cities voted during the primaries and felt in general. CK^{Sysop/BOBmaster?} 11:28, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
