The Dark Time Moon

The Dark Time Moon is a future-bestseller currently being written by Slidur de Corovou. The story is about a few Southern Kanta Penguins in Bakunyumoria trying to know what are the black patches and craters are on the moon, but they end up running into a few problems.

Prologue:The Discovery

As the sun drowned below and the moon towered up like a skyscraper, a gang of penguins were up to nothing but watching some television in an igloo which belonged to a friend of theirs. These were no ordinary Adeile or High Penguins, but Kanta Penguins.

Jim, Ken, Linda, Cassy, and Maxwell were excitedly watching a hockey game live from Shops Island when suddenly the power went off and the Moon was their only chance of lighting even though no light shined on the sidewalk. "Who tampered with the smoke alarm... I mean, fuse box?" questioned Cassy. Ken replied urgently, "Nobody messed with the fuse box. They instead messed with the power line." Jim also replied to Ken's question, "Ooh... feels like you're telling a spooky story!". But you may wonder, what about the moon?

However, Jim and Linda which were confused, noticed a horde of grayish patches on the distant Moon's surface. If you would have known, it was full Moon. The power suddenly went on about exactly 10 minutes later. Hesitated to know more, they phoned an expert and he sadly knew nothing about those "oceans" as they called them. Strangely, the other 3 had noticed "circles" on the moon and phoned another expert. Devastated again, that expert would have known months ago. But, his always-talking son barged in his room just before he found out and messed the studying penguin up for lunch. After 6 calls and no yeses on what the patches or craters were, Maxwell the foolish Kanta, called the rest of the gang "bobble-head-freaks".

"Shut the heck up, lousy!" exclaimed Ken.

"What he said! Now we gotta find what those patches are" Linda said.

The Kantas got on their Ecord and headed for a local observatory on a mountain nearby Cantershire. Until they realized they had to pay £36 to look in the telescope for 5 minutes. Strangely, the magnifier was too big and pointed to a flag of some place called America. "What a coincidence we found. I only know some guy had put that on the patch in 1969 or '68." remarked Cassy. Suddenly, after exactly 3 minutes passed on the timer to look in the telescope, Max had found a planet with "ears" as he had called them. "Hi. Look your penguin heads up here. Especially the guy in the jacket."said a voice from the roof.

That voice was the ghost of Ford Car's... Ever since he arrived(which is currently unknown), the local people popped their curtains up like WTAMF! to view the rare occasion that was currently occurring. Of course, nobody dared to stop peeking until the famous ghost had vanished. "If you wanna know what's up there, you gotta actually be there." quoted Ford Car.

"That makes sense. At least to you, that is." said the 5 penguins all together. "JINX!!!" Maxwell exclaimed as he yelled his head off. "You owe me a bouncy thing-a-whatever! Then, for effect, the neighborhood went on silence then Ken screamed "NO!" at Maxwell's not-so-funny face.

A portal to a place called "What-The-Narrator-Doesn't-Know-It's-Name" appeared. The gang entered and they appeared in some place like this.

"Woah! I never knew pumpkins here grew pre-carved!" said Cassy.
