The Dynamic Trio and the Diamond Heist is the story of the Dynamic Trio going on a visit to Snow Freezecisco to discover a malicious plot to steal a diamond showcased in a museum and must try their best to stop it. Not only does that happen, but they also discover one of S.H.A.R.K.'s latest plans and must foil it before it can take place. However, they find unexpected obstacles and challenges along the way.

Prologue

William Lagois was in his house in , peacefully watching TV. He hadn't been active during that week, and was mainly staying inside. The weather in Gernomia had rose greatly and the news reporter had just said to expect more hotter weather in the following week. William had chosen to stay indoors and enjoy the comfort of keeping cool just like most other penguins in the neighbourhood. After flipping through the channels to find something interesting just as the last show ended, the doorbell rang.

William: Huh? Who could that be...?

He opened the door to reveal a familiar yellow propeller capped ninja wearing a black belt and ninja mask beside a large box. It was none other than his cousin, Kenny Lagois who smiled cheerfully at him.

Kenny: Hey, William!

William: Kenny! What're you doing here? And...what's that box...? I don't remember ordering anything or asking for something to be delivered...

Just as he was about to open the box, it exploded open making William jump.

Cheddarbox: BOO!

William: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!

There was a lime green penguin with brown hair inside wearing a red shirt and blue face paint. He was now rolling on the floor with laughter as William, who was out of breath, slowly recovered from his sudden surprise. It was none other than William's other cousin and Kenny's brother, Cheddarbox who was still laughing.

William: Why do you keep doing that to me...?

Cheddarbox still continued to laugh.

Cheddar: You must've made everyone in the whole neighbourhood deaf...HAAHHAHAHAHA!

After Cheddarbox stopped laughing, William invited them both inside.

William: So...Why did you both travel all the way to Statavia to meet me?

Kenny: We wanted to see you because of something important we found.

Cheddar: And to see the reaction you would make which turned out to be quite funny.

Kenny: While I was on a recon mission to gather info about S.H.A.R.K., I came across an old abandoned warehouse, which was rumoured to have been a meeting place...

Kenny pulled out a file and handed it over to William.

Kenny: And then I found this.

William foraged through the documents examining each and every one of them. Inside were detailed plans and maps of what seemed to be a building, pictures, and info regarding a museum and a diamond.

William: The "Crown Jewel Diamond"?

Kenny: That's right.

Cheddar: Boy, those S.H.A.R.K. goons aren't gonna be happy when they find out you stole their plans, Ken.

Kenny: Yeah, well, that's not exactly all that I found. The documents in there were merely copies. I found a computer there, too and they left their email account page open. The file was sent to them. I managed to cover my tracks by re-print them and put them in a folder. So whoever sent it must have the originals.

William: I see...so this heist is going to take place in a museum in Snow Freezecisco?

Cheddar: Yup. Pretty well planned if you ask me. Not even I could come up with a plan that mischievous.

William: Sooooo...we're going to stop these guys?

Kenny: That's exactly what we're going to do. Cheddar has the tickets for the plane. We've booked a hotel nearby and we'll all be leaving in about 3 days. The heist is going to take place about a couple days after we depart, I believe. Well, we'll talk to you later.

Cheddar: Yeah, we can't let them cause trouble without us. Besides, we'll miss out on all the fun.

With that, the two brothers left, leaving William to think about what they said.

William: A robbery, huh? Well, this can't be good...

Chapter 1: Snow Freezecisco

Over the next few days, the trio had packed and had the plane had just landed in Snow Freezecisco.

Cheddar: Aaaaaaaaaannd we're here!

Kenny: Great! Let's go find a taxi.

The trio got out of the airplane while Cheddar seemed to be struggling with his large bag.

William: By the way, Cheddar, why did you bring such a large bag?

Cheddar: ...*pant*...uh...I guess because of my pranking supplies...?

William: Is that what's really making the bag heavy? We're not staying here for long, you know.

Cheddar: Well, you never know. They might come in handy *pant*.

After leaving the hotel and finding something to eat, the team set out to find out how to intercept S.H.A.R.K.'s master plan to try and steal the diamond. They started by waddling to the exact location of where the museum that the robbery would take place at.

Cheddar: Hey, guys! Look at that! Isn't that the place?

Kenny and William both looked up from a map to see a large brick building with "Snow Freezecisco Museum" on it.

Cheddar: Whoa...this place is...

William: Yeah...huge.

Kenny: This should be the place. Shall we take a look?

William: Sure. Let's go in!

The trio entered a large room with many other rooms connecting it. Several pedestals could be seen with glass casing with each containing different objects. A large crowd of penguins was filling up one particular room on the right.

Cheddar: D'you think that's where it is?

Kenny: Well, there's only one way to find out.

After waddling through the many penguins struggling to get a good view, the managed to enter the room and see the cause of the large group.

Cheddar: Whoa...is that actually it?

Kenny: Yeah. It definitely is.

In the center of the room was a large pedestal. On it sat a diamond almost the size of a basketball. A golden plaque on the pedestal was labeled "The Crown Jewel Diamond".

William: Wow. It's so much more different from that picture than I thought it was.

Kenny: Today is supposed to be the first day of it being in the museum. It's worth loads of money and it's the one artifact that gets the most protection. The glass casing is bulletproof, fireproof, and I don't even know what else they made it immune to, but they must have thought of everything possible except for the one thing: sound.

Cheddar: So they're going to scream as high as possible until they lose their voice to try and crack open this thingamjig?

Kenny: Nah, I doubt they would do that. It's definitely something sound related though. Some sort of device that's going to use sound to shatter the glass.

William: That would be music to our ears.

Kenny: Yeah, you can probably bet that it's not gonna be good for anyone in the building and probably anyone that lives around this area.

Cheddar: So how're we gonna stop 'em from PWNing the whole neighbourhood?

Kenny: I don't know. But I think we should strike when they strike. In other words, we'll wait and when they come, we'll ambush them. That should give them a nice surprise. I guess, we could hang around and check out the city until then.

William: Sounds like a plan.

Cheddar: Count me in!

The Dynamic Trio had been waddling around looking at all sorts such as the Silver Gate Bridge (which they had gotten to by tram), and had found a pizza restaurant to eat at and had now just left.

Cheddar: That cheese pizza was awesome! Probably the best I've had since Wikipenguino made us one.

William: Anything else we should check out, Kenny?

Kenny unraveled his large map of Snow Freezecisco.

Kenny: Hmm...there's still a lot to check out.

While Kenny looked through his map, William noticed a penguin shoved into an alleyway by some mean looking penguins. All of them had skateboards.

William: Huh...?

Kenny was still consulting his map while Cheddar was messing around with his slingshot.

William: Hang on, I'll be right back.

William crossed the road as soon as the light turned green which which went unnoticed by Kenny and Cheddar. William saw a very scared looking purple penguin who was surrounded by the skateboard wielding penguins.

Penguin: P-please...l-leave m-m-me alone...

Skateboard Penguin 1: Give us all your money. Then we'll leave you alone.

Penguin: I d-didn't bring a-any of it w-w-with m-me-

Skateboard Penguin 2: Liar. I see your wallet. Give it to us if you don't wanna get PWNed.

William: HEY!

All of the penguins turned in his direction.

William: Why don't you leave that penguin alone? Or-

Skateboard Penguin 2: Or what?

William: Or...uh...

William struggled for something to say.

Skateboard Penguin 2: You don't know who we are, do you?

Skateboard Penguin 1: Nobody in the neighbourhood who knew us would dare mess with us. We're the Sk8r Boiz.

William: Umm...okay...nice to know that. Like I said before, leave that penguin alone.

Skaterboard Penguin 2: Mark, why don't you do the honours?

One of the skateboarders took out a baseball bat and started skating towards William.

William: Uh oh...not good...AAAAAHHHHHH!!!

William started to run but the baseball bat wielding skateboarder was faster and was starting to catch up. William ran across the street to the other side where Kenny and Cheddar were.

William: KENNY! CHEDDAR! Uh...A little help!?

Cheddar: Huh? Wait, what!?

Cheddar saw the oncoming penguins, shrieked and started running with William. He saw a street crossing and quickly crossed it to the other side. Luckily, the skateboarders continued to pursue William. He sprinted ahead of them to another street crossing and saw a box of balloons and a hose.

Cheddar: Hmm...this is going to be a good one.

William and the skateboarders were getting really close now and had almost caught up with William. Cheddarbox had by now filled up the balloon with water.

Cheddar: Hey, William!

William: What!?

Cheddar: DUCK!

William did as he was told and Cheddar threw the balloon as hard as he could.

It flew over William and hit Mark right in the face.

Mark: AAAAAAHHHHH!

He toppled off of his skateboard and crashed into the others who also fell over. Cheddar burst out laughing as the skateboarders struggled to stand up but kept tripping over and bumping into each other.

Kenny: What's going on here!?

Kenny had rushed across the street and had stopped looking at his map. One of the skateboarders picked up the fallen baseball bat and swung it hard at Kenny who grabbed it before it could hit him.

Kenny: Leave us alone. Or else.

Nevertheless, Mark stood up and charged at Kenny who moved out of the way. Mark screamed and couldn't prevent himself from landing on the floor for a second time. The other skateboarders scurried out of sight.

Cheddar: William was halfway from getting PWNed by those guys. Besides, I couldn't miss the chance to prank.

William: They were being totally unfair to a penguin back there. I had to do something. They said they're called the Sk8r Boiz.

Kenny: Well, at least they'll know not to trouble us a second time. Let's get going. Hey, wait a minute...

William: What is it, Kenny?

Cheddar: More punks like those who wanna mess with us? Trust me, if they-

Kenny: No, it's not that. It's this.

He held up some sort of tablet-like device with a screen and a few buttons. Three pulsing red dots were visible on what looked like the map of Snow Freezecisco and were all moving around. A pulsing green dot was visible on another part.

Kenny: It's got a lead on those S.H.A.R.K. agents. I managed to plant trackers on multiple agents so this is probably them converging to form whatever their plan is to get their flippers on the diamond. What do you guys say we find out?

Cheddar: Sounds like a plan. Count me in!

Kenny: How about you, William?

William: Whatever it takes to stop them from breaking into the museum as long as we don't get ourselves killed or something.

Kenny: Great! We'll sneak in at nightfall and see if they're still there and if we can catch them at their base. I'll keep a close watch on them for now.

Chapter 2: The Plan

It was a quiet night in Snow Freezecisco with barely anybody around. All of the streets were mostly deserted while the street lamps were still lit. Three penguins were still outside in the mostly silent city as most penguins were either asleep or at home. One of the penguins whispered to the other two.

Cheddar: Gee, it's real quiet out here. Kinda creepy, too.

Kenny: We're gonna want to stay quiet. We're getting real close to the base now.

William: Is it always this quiet at midnight?

Kenny: I really don't know. It's only been my first time here but you're probably going to want to be ready for anyone who might jump out and get us.

The trio waddled through the city stopping at an old warehouse.

William: This looks like the place.

Cheddar walked up to the rusty metal entrance and tried to push it open

Cheddar: Bad news, guys. It's locked from the inside.

Kenny: Relax, I've got it.

BANG!

Kenny had kicked open the door which had a flipper shaped dent where he had hit it. A large, lit empty room was revealed with wooden crates stacked against the wall.

Cheddar: Uh...where is everyone?

William: Oh, no. IT'S A TRA-

Suddenly, the lights turned off and the room was plunged into darkness.

William: AAAAAHHH!

Cheddar: AAAAAHHH! Who turned out the lights!?

William: Guys where are you!?

Rushing footsteps could be heard and the sound of a punch echoed in the darkness which was shortly followed by a cry of pain.

Kenny: KEEP PUNCHING ANYTHING REALLY DARK THAT YOU CAN SEE!

As William's eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness he saw dark shapes running towards him. He took out his ice pistol and fired into the oncoming penguins who collapsed as soon as they were hit. Suddenly, Cheddar screamed.

William: CHEDDAR!?

Cheddar: Who is this I don't even-!?

Suddenly the lights came back on and William was blinded by the sudden change. Three penguins in black armor who were trying to drag Cheddar away covered their eyes as well. Kenny could be seen near the exit of the room at the light switch. Shielding his eyes from the light, William aimed at the stunned penguins and knocked two of them out. The other one looked scared and put his flippers in the air.

Penguin: Stop! Please! I'll talk!

William still didn't lower his pistol.

Penguin: It was all meant to be a trap! Bernie told us to wait for you guys here and bring you outside!

Bernie892 was the trusted, slightly clumsy and somewhat dumb commander of S.H.A.R.K. who Wikipenguino X usually sent to do his bidding. Suddenly, Kenny punched the penguin in the head who collapsed on the floor.

Cheddar: Why did you have to do that?

Kenny: He told us enough. You'll see in a moment. Put on those suits those penguins were wearing.

Kenny pointed to three knocked out penguins on the floor.

Behind the warehouse were a gang of armoured penguins who were hiding in the shadows carefully awaiting the arrival of the rest of their team. Three penguins marched out of the warehouse and the team's leader, Bernie892 stepped out from his hiding place and went to greet them.

Bernie892: Finally! What was taking so long? We could here a lot going on from out here.

Penguin 1: The three penguins got away, sir. The rest of the team is down.

Bernie looked furious.

Bernie: Unbelievable...Well, get into the truck, we have no time to waste. The robbery must all go according to plan and we have to regroup.

The rest of the penguins and Bernie marched into three heavily disguised trucks. The three penguins who came out of the warehouse hung behind for a few moments.

Cheddar: Boy, that was close. It's a good thing that you did the talking, Ken.

William: Why on earth aren't they going back for the others?

Kenny: Bernie doesn't care much about his soldiers. He's easily confused and easy to fool which makes him vulnerable to being tricked.

They quickly waddled with the rest of the S.H.A.R.K. minions into the trucks. They drove for about half an hour before stopping in front of what looked like a small camp near the border of the city in what seemed to be on the edge of a forest. The sky was a dark navy blue and a full moon was visible.

Bernie892: Alright, let's go over the plan. We're supposed to enter in the very early morning, then prepare everything. After about an hour, we will-

Suddenly, a muffled humming of a phone could be heard.

Bernie892: What's that?

Penguin 1: It's sounds like...

Penguin 2: Hey, it's him!

The second penguin pointed at another penguin who look terrified.

Bernie892: You! What's making that noise?

He marched up to the penguin and pulled a phone out of the penguin's pocket. A tune started playing loudly.

We're no strangers to love

All of the other penguins including Cheddar burst out laughing. Even William felt the slight urge to laugh. Kenny, however, remained silent. Some even rolled on the floor. The penguin who's phone was being held in Bernie's hand looked horrified now. The unexpected rickroll had made him look even more furious then when the trio came out of the warehouse and told him the false information.

He canceled the call and the ringtone stopped.

Bernie892: ENOUGH!

The troops quietened instantly. Cheddar however, was having trouble restraining his laughter.

Bernie892: WE'RE ALL GOING TO GET TRAPPED WITH THIS MUCH NOISE AT THIS RATE. THE NEXT PENGUIN WHO LAUGHS IS GOING TO FACE MY FURY.

They all remained silent. Cheddar quietened down a little bit.

Bernie892: Now...where was I? We were going to-

Suddenly, the phone buzzed in his hand and the ringtone started to play again.

We're no strangers to love

Cheddar, however, couldn't hold the laugh in any longer.

Cheddar: HAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAHAAA!!

All the other troops had remained silent while Cheddar rolled on the floor with laughter. They all turned to watch him including Bernie who slowly turned to face him. William felt a surge of fear.

Cheddar: *gulp*

William: You gave us away...

Bernie892: Alright. You are coming with me.

Bernie turned to bark at two other troops.

Bernie892: YOU TWO! Grab him and isloate him from the others. If I hear another sound out of him, shoot him.

Two of the soldiers rushed forwards to grab Cheddar. Kenny reacted instantly.

Kenny: Guys. Duck.

William and Cheddar both did as told and Kenny kicked one of the penguins into the other one. They collapsed instantly.

Cheddar: Yeah, I think now would be a good time to run...

They both ran off into the distance. William took out his ice pistol as they ran. The distant yells of S.H.A.R.K. minions could be heard as well as Bernie's cries of rage. Cheddar pulled off his S.H.A.R.K. headgear.

Cheddar: Ah! Boy, it was tight in there.

Kenny: Don't relax now, we have to get a safe distance away from them first.

The sounds of guns firing could be heard and shiny objects whizzed past them with a whistling sound. William returned fire but never looked back to make sure if he'd hit anyone. Cheddar pulled out his slingshot and flung some pellets at the oncoming soldiers. Cheddar sprinted ahead of them to one of the trucks they all rode in and fumbled around inside it. After a few moments, he took something that looked like an unusually thick red stick. Cheddar took what looked like a splinter out of his pocket and scraped it against a box. It set itself alight. He signaled to William and Kenny to run quick.

William: You've got to be kidding me, Cheddar. Is he-?

Kenny: Going to blow up their system of transport? Yes, yes I think he is.

After they both ran ahead, Cheddar dropped the matchstick on the crate of dynamite.

Cheddar: FIRE IN THE HOLE!

The minions shrieked and tried to back up while warning their comrades. Bernie could be heard screaming at the retreating soldiers.

Bernie892: WHY ARE YOU RUNNING!? PURSUE THEM!

Penguin 1: Sir! One of them just got to our truck's supply of-

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!

The resulting explosion made the whole forest glow with fiery orange flames and blinding light. Soldiers who were too close were knocked off of their feet. Kenny jerked William and Cheddar behind a boulder. William could feel a wave of heat sweep over him while fire blazed just behind them. As soon as he began to catch his breath, Kenny signaled to them both to run. None of them checked to see if the S.H.A.R.K. agents followed them or not but continued onto to find the main street. They all quickly pulled off the S.H.A.R.K. gear and left it by an alleyway.

William: It was really *pant* hot in there. *pant* How do they even *pant* stay cool with *pant* these things on? *pant*

Kenny flagged a nearby taxi and they hopped in.

William: Oh, thank programmer...finally we can get back.

Cheddar: Yeah, I'm out of breath too. Did you see that explosion, though? I guess you could say we lit up the night, right?

Kenny: Only we didn't get what we were looking for.

Cheddar: Maybe you didn't...

Cheddar pulled out a blue USB stick.

Cheddar: But maybe I did.

Kenny stared at it for a moment. His jaw dropped.

Kenny: How...? How did you get this...?

Cheddar: Remember how you said Bernie wasn't that smart? I was watching him the whole time in the truck. This stick fell out of his pocket and I was just waiting for the chance to grab it. Luckily when I came back the truck, it was still on the floor, untouched.

William still seemed to be either still out of breath to say anything or perplexed, but either way looked both relieved and excited.

Kenny: Thanks, Cheddar. I guess I really owe you one.

Cheddar: Nah, don't mention it.

Kenny: When we get back, I'll see what information we can squeeze out of this.

Chapter 3: Waking Up With A Blast

William slowly opened his eyes to the sound of a keyboard being tapped on. The curtain was drawn, but a ray of sunlight could be seen from underneath it. The room was still quite dark. Cheddar's bed, which was to the left of William, was empty and his blanket was pulled over. Kenny's bed, which was to the right, remained untouched. William put himself to a sitting position and turned towards the sound of the typing keyboard while rubbing his eyes as they slowly adjusted to his surroundings when heard something move very close to him.

William turned around slowly.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!

William leaped back in surprise and fell off his bed, luckily hitting his head on Kenny's bed.

Cheddarbox collapsed on the floor next to William, giggling uncontrollably. An air horn was on the floor beside him.

William: Cheddar you have got stop doing that!

Cheddar still continued to giggle. Kenny was sitting behind a desk with a computer on top of it typing on a keyboard and clicking with a mouse. He turned to see the source of the noise.

Kenny: Cheddar, please keep it down. And I haven't slept all night.

William: You didn't sleep?

Kenny: No, I was up reviewing and going over every inch of the plans that S.H.A.R.K. had. All thanks to Cheddar, this USB was really useful. Tiring, but I managed to go through all of it and remember it by heart anyways.

William: But still, I can still the ringing. That was very unfair, Cheddar...

Cheddar: I wanted to use this on those guys back there, but I didn't get the chance to bring it with me. I had to test it on someone, though...

William: Yeah, but I don't have to be your primary target.

Kenny: Cheddar, go easy with the pranking. Today, we're going to have to start figuring out how to intercept S.H.A.R.K.

William: Alright, how do that?

Kenny: This entire operation is going to take place in the early hours of next morning so we're going to have to be ready. We'll have to find some way to get into the museum's security system and perhaps set off the alarm while we're there so the S.H.A.R.K. members won't have time to activate the device.
