The Fight for Freedom is a memoir written by Brant11 about the early lives of many prominent Chinstrapians, such as Brant11, Travis Howe, and Ryan Crosby, and their lives during the Antarctic Revolution.

Prologue

I, Austin Brant, recall my experiences from the Antarctic Revolution after being on a vacation with my family, where I was visiting many of the places I was before. During that time, I learned many things, the history of the place, and military strategies.

I was born in Chinstrap. However, soon I moved to Club Penguin. Not the Club Penguin it is now, but back then, the city of Club Penguin was known as Penguin Town, a town with about 100,000 penguins, much smaller than it is now. Penguin Island itself had about 150,000 penguins.

On April 18, 1999, mine, and the lives of 750,000,000 people living in Antarctica changed. In the town of Coconut, a town of 5,000 north of Penguin Town, named because of the coconuts dropped off at the harbor from the Yowien Sea.

On that day, in the town of Coconut, and in the town of Luckyton, Puffish soldiers opened fire on the local militia. I witnessed the incident of Dojo Hill, 1 mile away from Coconut. That day, I was with 5 others, Ryan, my childhood friend, and Swiss Ninja, another friend of mine, and his brothers, Gaston, Fisch, and Clovis.

Over the next 3 months, I continued to stay with my friends, practicing in the dojo. However, life was just so much different after the war started, and I wanted to get involved. Ryan and I decided to join the militia defending Penguin Island. Quickly, we switched to the Chinstrap Patriots, where we met two other people, Dominic Smith and Travis Howe.

I decided to write this story in third person because this wasn't centered around me, but rather everybody who was involved with me.

Chapter 1: The War Begins

It was early in the morning on April 18, 1999. Little did anyone know that the course of history would change dramatically in the coming hours. In downtown Penguin Town, in a coffee shop - the Coffee Shop, the owner was opening his shop. Less than a mile away, in the Dojo, a group of penguins had gotten up early to begin practicing. Nobody knew that these penguins would meeting each other one day.

Meanwhile, north of Penguin Town, Puffish soldiers were making their way to seize ammunition in the towns of Luckyton and Coconut. In Luckyton, they had alerted the local militia, who had begun a battle. As they proceeded to nearby Coconut, north of that Dojo, the militia had gathered by the thousands, and attacked the Puffish.

In the Dojo, many penguins had heard the gunshots, and wondered what happened, and from the hilltop, had seen the battle. Some realized that this would change Antarctica forever.

Later that day, seven people were conversing. These people would all one day be famous. They were Swiss Ninja, Fisch, Clovis, Gaston, who were the Hochstadt Brothers, and two others, Ryan Crosby, and Brant11.

Brant11: "Well, I think a war has started, and it's probably going to affect us. But anyways, what are you going to do? I mean like what job, or where are you going to live?"

Swiss Ninja: "I planning to go into politics. Maybe set up my own city or something, or even a country."

Fisch: "I'm studying at Beacon University for my Master's Degree in Antarctic History."

Clovis: "I'm trying to find employers to be as a slapstick comedian."

Gaston: "I'm going to buy YACHTS! And sail all around with them."

Ryan: "I'll just stay here."

Swiss: "But Brant, what are you going to do?"

Brant11: "I don't know, I guess just move to Chinstrap. I heard the Puffish are easier about laws there."

Chapter 2: A Hot Summer, In Two Ways

It was now a four months later. After that day, two people from that conversation, Brant11, and Ryan Crosby, were now on Rockhopper Island, fighting with the Chinstrap Patriots. They had met two other Chinstrapians, Travis Howe, a Puffish deserter, and Dominic Smith, and Chinstrapian born in Chinstrap.

Inside a barrack, Brant was talking to Travis, while Ryan and Dominic were outside patrolling.

Brant11: "It's so hot, someone turn on the air conditioning already."

Travis: "It's the military life. And the air conditioning is on already."

Brant11: "It's hotter than any Antarctican summer."

Travis: "Actually, any Yowien Sea island is the same, since I think we are under an ozone hole."

Just then, Dominic entered the room.

Dominic: "It's crazy out there, I think its like 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Since penguins have thick feathers, 45 degrees F is very hot.

Travis: "Well that's what we were talking about.

Dominic: "I hope we win against the Puffish, because I don't want to break a sweat for nothing."

Brant11: "Well, we'd probably win, since I think Francterre is sending us aid, and maybe soldiers, and the UAN is also sending us aid."

Travis: "Well, you know that Puffle'and is on the UAN right? They're not going to let the UAN help us."

Brant11: "You have a point there. But Francterre is helping. Oh, and us, the Chinstrap Patriots. Some of them were in the Puffish army, they know their tactics."

Then Ryan entered the room.

Ryan: "Guys, its hot out there. I heard that Rockhopper Island was hot, but not this hot."

Travis: "That's the typical Yowien Sea. We're under an ozone hole."

Ryan: "You guys want to do anything? It's an hour until lights out. Want to get Cream Soda?"

Brant11: "We're not allowed to get drunk."

Ryan: "I know. I mean the kind that doesn't make you drunk."

All: "We're in!"

Ryan: "Okay. Let's go."

After 45 minutes in the bar, they headed back.

Dominic: "That was good."

Brant11: "I know, nothing's better than a cold cream soda on a hot day."

Once they headed back to the barracks, they all went to sleep.

Travis: "Good night."

All: "Good night."

The next day, around 6 am, they were woken by gunfire.

BANG BANG BANG

Austin: "Is that gunfire?"

Travis: "Yes, put on your clothes and weapons and go!"

They then reported to the headquarters, where Greg Cleanington, the leader of the Chinstro-Antarctican forces was waiting for the soldiers.

High Ranking Officer: "TEN-HUT!"

Greg Cleanington: "The Puffish have attacked, half of their fleet has landed at Hopper Town, while the other has landed at the southern end of the island. They are planning to meet in Hopper Town. We must stop them. We are awaiting reinforcements. Hold them off as much as you can."

All Soldiers: "YES SIR!"

Greg: "WE WILL FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!"

With that, all the soldiers headed off to fight the Puffish.

BANG BANG BANG

The soldiers were greeted by gunfire when they got to Hopper Town.

Dominic: "We're gonna get killed here!"

Travis: "Agreed."

Dominic: "A group of soldiers are making a stand outside Rockhopper Town, let's go over there!"

Ryan: "Sure!"

Travis: "Okay, let's move!"

When they got there, the Antarcticans started to lose. They were being pushed back and were losing men. They were almost being pushed into the main Puffish force, which would surround them.

Brant11: "We need to retreat!"

Travis: "Yeah, there's no way we can win!"

Just then, a cannonball exploded near them.

BOOM

Ryan: "Ahhh, we really do need to get out of here"

Dominic: "Let's go!"

Back with the main Revolutionist army, the situation wasn't any better. The Puffish were surrounding them.

Greg Cleanington: "We must fight for freedom! Do not retreat!"

However, the army didn't care and they retreated.

Greg: "I said don't retreat!"

Brant11: "You heard him! Stay!"

Travis: "We could if the rest of the army did, but they are all retreating!"

Dominic: "Move out!"

The Revolutionists retreated to the ships, which set sail right away.
