History[edit]
The Slav'ens formed their unofficial country state in the collapsing Babbelonian Empire. They lived along the coast of the Peninsula or inland. Soon, they gained control of the whole Peninsula. They put a King in Charge, arranged a parliment, and then called it a Kingdom. They lived peacefully within their borders and traded with the Penguin Empire. The Penguins Developed towns along the peninsula and traded their goods to the other towns among the country. They traded peacefully with each other, and even began trading with the Penguin Empire, the High Penguin Clans, and the Land of Khanz in 30 BC. It stayed peaceful until the year 400 came, when a new king decided to invade the crumbling Penguin Empire with the help of other countries. After they destroyed it, they went back to their homeland, and expanded their land into Trans-Antarctica. Ten years later, the Viking raiders arrived from Spandanavia. They attacked Slav'en and destroyed the capital city, marking the end of the country.
Aftermath[edit]
The Viking Penguins rebuilt the captital, Slav'ick, which became a major city. However, it was never the capital; in fact, nobody knows what the Vikings named their captital. The Peninsulans found themselves under Viking rule for an extremely long time. During that time, they came under rule from a sucession of kings, Viking, High Penguin, Peninsulan and sometimes even Khanz. However when Harold Goodwinson came into power, he, being a Peninsulan, was popular among the other Peninsulan and many followed him to war, to expell non-Peninsulans. The Vikings, Khanz and High Penguins were not happy and burnt down Slav'ick, once and for all, destroyng the last of Peninsulan culture. The story had a happy, sad and once again happy ending; the coalition were defeated at Standfjord Bridge, the Peninsulans were defeated by Lord William Guin's rebels and finally Slav'ick was rebuilt in the time of the USA, as Shiverpool.
Culture[edit]
The culture of the Peninsulan Slav'ens were very similar to famous Viking traditions many know about today. Most groups lived in villages or small towns that were built around a longhouse, which was where everyone would meet. They tended to live at or near sea, although there were plenty of villages along rivers and in lakes, and some in remove mountain regions. Many of the Vikings were fishermen and craftsmen who made things from wood and metal. The inhabitants also tended to raid other villages that were considered enemies, or they usually raided random Penguin Empire towns for gold and other precious materials. Many of these Viking raiders stole all the goods from the villages and usually burned them to the ground. The Early Slav'ens were not an organized nation but a collection of independent village-nations, but they soon converged under one King at a newly established capital that was once a powerful Viking trade city.
