TransAir is a low-cost domestic airline, it is currently the flag carrier of the state, Trans-Antarctica, the airline a hub in Newton Town International Airport. The airline currently serves more than ten destinations as of September 19,2009. The airline currently has sixteen aircraft, mostly Snowing 737-800s.
History[edit]
In 2008, in the State Capitol Building, 16 of the 24 members of State Senate agreed to open a state-owned airline in 2009, On April 17, 2009, the airline was created with a grant from the federal government. The airline was given ten aircraft by Snowing and some other private aviation companies. The airline was awarded the GoldenStar in Excellency in Flight by the ACAO.

The airline is currently ordering more fleet,probably Airhail 320-800, by an announcement on the airline's site, they are also leasing five JRC700s to other airlines 2010.
Cabin[edit]
There is only one class available, which is Domestic Class. The airline offers free, complementary snacks, drinks, meals and 17' inch pitch seats, made of genuine leather from Gemini. The airline also has a smoothie bar on some aircraft, with even free wireless internet by iQubo. The airline offers many other things including a seat, that can recline into a small bed as well. All passengers have access to the TransLounge, and free shuttles to and from selected hotels at selected destinations. Each flight offers free snacks and drinks as well, as sometimes, on longer routes, pillows and blankets.
