Chapter 12:Ninja Archipelago Tour[edit]
Clovis and Piper were now at the airport, ready to leave for their next destination, Frankterre. Suddenly, they saw Leonardo di Tremezzo, their yellow puffle friend who is the pet puffle of Fuut Ga.
Piper:"Hey, cousin. Nice to see you again."
Leonardo:"It's good to see you too, Piper and Clovis. I sadly heard about what happened to S2. I came here to help accompany you on your journey."
Clovis:"That's good."
Leonardo:"Actually, I was here in Batavia the whole time. I was painting some windmills in the countryside when I heard about your guys' arrival."
Clovis:"Yup. Let's go, Frankterre awaits!"
Piper:"Hmmph. At least Gottfried isn't going there..."
The three soon arrived at the Charles de Gol International Airport in the capital city of Parie, Frankterre.
Piper:"So what's to see in the city first?"
Leonardo:"First, we need to go to our hotel and check in. Then, we will go visit the famous Rifle Tower, and then maybe the Arch of Triumph."
Clovis:"Afterwards, we'll stroll down the streets of Parie during the afternoon, and hopefully we will come across an affordable cafe to eat dinner."
Leonardo:"Yeah."
The three of them then took a taxi to their hotel located in the heart of the city. As soon as they had checked in, unpacked their luggage, and made themselves comfortable, the three of them went off to see the Rifle Tower, the famed iconic landmark of the city of Parie and Frankterre itself.
The Three soon climbed up the tower and took a good bird's eye view of the city of Parie. Piper brought his camera and took several pictures.
Leonardo:"So yes, I've visited Parie before, with both Swiss Ninja and Fuut Ga. I know my way around here."
Clovis:"I like this city. So where is the Arch of Triumph?"
Leonardo:"Look over there...see that street? It's called the Champione Elysees. We will walk down this street, were we will eventually reach the Arch of Triumph. I believe you can see it from here as well..."
The three of them soon walked down the tower and towards the Arch of Triumph via the street of Champione Elysees. There they saw some of the most expensive houses and cafes in all of Frankterre. However, it was crowded with tourists, even when they had reached the Arch of Triumph. They also were able to climb to the top and take pictures of the views of the city. Once they did that, they went to tour the streets of Parie, which were less crowded and more peaceful. One area looked very nice, and a native was asked to take a picture of the three travelers, shown below.
They soon spotted a nice cafe that served dinner. They soon were seated, and their orders were filled. A little while later, their dishes were served. Clovis had ordered a Quiche Lorriane with Escargot (fried RocketSnails- a famous Frankterran dish), Leonardo ordered a famous O-Berry and onion soup served with a baugette, and Piper had the same thing as Leonardo. To their delight, a band of musicians began playing a song for their dining customers.

They feasted on their meals, and everyone enjoyed their dish.
Waitor:"Want some Creme Brulee?"
The waitor set down three dishes of Creme Brulee, the delicious Frankterran dessert. The Waitor then took out a mini Blow torch and began to heat up the cream, making Creme Brulee. Then, the three ate their dessert, recieved and paid for the bill, and left a tip. The three then began walking back to their hotel.....until Clovis walked past an town home that said "Pour Vendre" with the English translation below, saying "For Sale".
Clovis:"That town house is for sale?"
Leonardo:"Apparently so."
Clovis:"I wish I could afford such a house. I live with Jock and Piper. I never had a home that I have ever called my own."
Piper:"I'm sure you can lend some money to Jock. You know, you're one of the only Hochstadt Family members that never were really rich or lived in extravagant houses, castles, palaces, or dojos."
Clovis:"True."
Leonardo:"Alrigh then. Tomorrow we take the train to Strauzbourg, which is on the other side of the island."
That next day, the three travelers had breakfast and headed for the train station. They boarded their train that headed for Strauzbourg.
Leonardo:"An interesting fact about Strauzbourg is that it has been influenced by both Alemanian and Frankterran culture."
Clovis:"Ok. I will make sure to write that into my journal right now."
Clovis took out his journal and began to write.
An excerpt from the Gottfried-Clovis Journal:
When we arrived in the beautiful country of Frankterre, we flew into the marvelous city of Parie. It is true to it's name, for the city of love has many sights to see. There is the iconic Rifle Tower, the Arch of Triumph, the famed museum the Loorve, and the ancient telenacle the Sudre Maale.....yet the streets of the city itself is appealing with the delicious food served at the streetside cafes. The city of Parie is an ideal place for those who like adventure, food, and romance. We now travel through the countryside of Frankterre on a train bound for the city of Strauzbourg, a city affected by both Frankterran and Alemanian culture and rule.
Clovis finished up his journal and looked out the window of the train to see the vast fields of wheat that spread across the countryside of Frankterre. Once in a while, a town popped up.
Clovis:"Wow. Amazing countryside."
Piper tried taking some pictures with his camera as well. The train soon arrived in Strauzbourg 2 hours later. The three walked out to see the city, where they had lunch in a restaurant located in the downtown part of the city.
Piper:"It looks like Alemania."
Leonardo:"Indeed. So now, we better catch our flight to our next destination..."
Clovis:"Which is?"
Leonardo:"Check the map in your pocket."
Clovis:"Oh."
Clovis pulled out the map from his pocket and unfolded it.
Clovis:"Oh right, we need to go to Liguria. We are going to be flying from Strauzbourg to Milano. We're going to visit your hometown, Leonardo di Tremezzo, which is in the Lago di Lario region."
Leonardo:"Hurray!"
The three of them then headed for the airport.
Meanwhile, at Swiss Ninja's Castle, the Keukenhof Castle.
A shadowy figure crept up the steps of Swiss Ninja's castle. He seemed relatively normal...or at least, except for that scar on his head. The aristocrats around the gates, making small talk and praising Swiss Ninja, were afraid of the newcomer. After all, he wasn't a nobleman. One could clearly tell that this guy had nothing to do with the politeness, bureaucracy, and aristocratic manners of the people around him.
After a short while, he knocked on the door.
A servant stuck his head out.
Servant: "His royal highness, the Kaiser Swiss Ninja is unavailable at the moment and will not be able to speak with you.
The stranger glared.
"Would you accept a bribe?"
"Depends what it is."
The stranger pulled out a bottle.
"Oh, I'm sure you'd like this. Just smell it."
The servant sniffed it and fell down unconsious. XTUX grinned, opened the door, and walked in.
Several Hours Later[edit]
"Austin, what is this?" said Swiss Ninja, who looked througly annoyed.
He had just opened his living room's door to find Austin, Java....was that Rex? He didn't like Rex. Vincent, That one with the sniper-oh, yeah, Johnathan, and a complete stranger.
Oh yeah, and the RDA Commander. And S1.
The stranger scared SN, probably because of the scar and the dangerous look. But not for long.
The RDA commander was leaning against a coffee table, drinking some Cream Soda, Vincent was playing cards with Rex, while Austin, Java, and the stranger were frantically talking and pointing to maps and calculations.
Johnathan and S1 were arguing who was the better shot.
Austin briefly looked up. "Oh, hey, Swiss." he said. Then he looked up again, and jumped. "ACK! SWISS!"
Swiss looked annoyed. "Austin, I told you NOT to plan in here." retorted an annoyed Swiss Ninja. "Of all places, the living room? Really, Austin?"
Austin replied, "Well, the planning room was already taken. Your stinkin' wife Maddieworld was drinking tea in there and wouldn't let us come in. She hit Rex on the head with a frying pan."
Swiss smirked. He didn't like Rex either.
"Well, anyway," he said, "What ARE you doing?" With some thought, Austin replied "We were planning."
Swiss paced back and forth. "So, Austin, what have you this time?"
Austin pointed at the map. "Now, if the Black Hand of Valdonore fails, (Java laughed) they're heading down the Lago De Laria or something around there."
Swiss:"Lago di Lario? I own a villa there. It's a beautiful Ligurian lake, indeed. I guess my brother Clovis has good taste in travel after all. Say....aren't you going to introduce me to that stranger? I still don't know who he is."
Austin:"Swiss, meet another good friend of mine. His name is XTUX Hun."
Swiss:"XTUX Hun? Oh great....you're related to that Hershee Chocolate owner Ben Hun, eh?"
XTUX:"No...I am not related to him. I changed my name to 'Hun' for the Lulz."
Swiss:"Hmmm. I like lulz...no wait, I LOVE LULZ! Especially if it involves the Hochstadt Gang or the USA! I already like this guy."
XTUX:"I am glad to be of your service. I heard about what you did to Ben Hun's factories as well."
Swiss:"Thank you! Now, let's see. They're in Lago di Lario right now? Vincent should be an expert of that area, right? I know his Italian will help you with the locals."
Vincent:"Si, but Lago di Lario is in the very north of Liguria. I am from Double Sicilia, the southernmost part of Liguria. Double Sicilia also has acted like it's own government as well. I can persuade a Sicilian cop, but I'm not sure about a Ligurian one. Especially cops from Lombardia."
Austin: "Well, my friend XTUX is very...persuasive."
Swiss: "Austin, stop interuppting me! Wait, really? Then this will be good then."
XTUX:"I will not let you down, sir."
Swiss:"I know you won't. Anyways, here's the plan, and it's a completely new one again!"
Austin:"Does it involve guerrilla warfare again?"
Swiss:"Quit interrupting. So, like i was saying, my plan. Austin, XTUX, Java, Vincent, and Johnathan go to Lago di Lario. This time, we will use bait to trap them."
Austin:"I doubt traps are going to stop them, Swiss."
Swiss:"Not that kind! I'm thinking that you should dress up as a Mwa Mwa Penguin and start acting cute and all in front of them all. That will leave them weak and the rest of you get out of your hiding spots and attack the enemy."
Austin:"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!"
Rex:"YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!"
Johnathan:"I don't think they will be pleased with seeing a Mwa Mwa. They'll just think Austin is out of his mind."
Swiss:"Quite the contrary. If they don't find Austin cute, knowing my brother and that red puffle of his, they'd want to prank or make fun of him. Austin is only a distraction.....this should keep them off guard. Austin, you better do your best to act like a funny Mwa Mwa then for maximum results!"
Java:"That might just work!"
Rex:"I love it!"
Johnathan had a queer look, but S1 was laughing. He still hadn't gotten over Austin banging him over the head a while back.
S1: Oh, that's a brilliant idea, your Majesty!"
Austin: "I'D RATHER LEAP OFF A CLIFF THAN DO THAT!"
Swiss: "Well, there are plenty of cliffs around here...."
Austin yelled and stormed out of the room, knocking over chairs and tables.
Rex, Java, S1, and Vincent were all laughing. Even XTUX looked mildly bemused.
Clovis, Piper, and Leonardo soon arrived in the city of Milano, Liguria. They soon took a bus to the Lago di Lario region up north. The three were driven to the city of Tremezzo, which was the childhood hometown of Leonardo di Tremezzo. They were going to stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which was right in front of the lake. As soon as they unpacked, Leonardo reunited with his family and friends since he had not seen them ever since he was captured. His parents were overjoyed to see their son alive and well, so they decided to have a delicious Ligurian feast for lunch with Clovis and Piper as the special guests. Afterwards, Leonardo got out his old family rowboat and went with Clovis and Piper. They paddled to the beatuful city of Bellegione, as seen below.
They continued to travel to other cities on the lake as well for the rest of the day, but by the time they got to their hotelroom after dinner at 7:30...Swiss Ninja, Austin, Java, Johnathan, XTUX, and Vincent also had arrived...but they were staying in the Hotel Snowzerlandia in the city of Cadennabia, which was a couple miles north of Tremezzo.
La Batalla En El Lago (The Battle on the Lake)[edit]
That next day, the two opposing groups, the bounty hunters and Hochstadt travelers, ate their breakfasts at their hotels, and went off into their towns to explore. The towns of Cadennabia and Tremezzo were connected by one main road that ran across the western shore of Lago di Lario, called Via Regina (translates into Regina Road). Clovis, Leonardo, and Piper began walking up Via Regina up north past Cadennabia to the small town of Griante. They soon passed by the Mwa Mwa Austin, who was rolling around and making baby noises on the stone pavement.
Austin:"Goo! Goo!"
Piper:"ZOMG! It's a Mwa Mwa! Let's kick it!"
Clovis and Leonardo:"OK!"
Austin:"Waaa Waaa!"
Clovis:"Wait, Piper, you're a puffle, you don't have feet. How can you kick him?"
Leonardo:"Fail."
Piper:"You kick him then."
Clovis:"Ok..."
Clovis kicked Austin, who make a weird sound. The three travelers laughed.
Austin:"Attaka! Attaka!"
Piper:"What's he saying now?"
Suddenly, Swiss Ninja, Vincent, Java, and Johnathan jumped out of the alleyway that they had been hiding behind, and started firing their snowball machine guns at the three travelers. The snowballs first blasted at Clovis, who fell back and went unconcious. Leonardo was then pummled, but he fell off the railing and onto the beach, out of sight. Piper was hit, but taht only distracted him.
Piper:"Aaaah!"
Swiss Ninja then came and tackled Piper to the ground, and shoved him in a cage.
Piper:"###@%^&*&^!!!!!!"
Swiss:"Quick, tie up Clovis before he wakes up!"
Austin and Java then tied up Clovis.
Austin:"Alright, lets take these two back to Snowzerland! We won!"
Swiss:"Heh. no. We don't need to go to Snowzerland."
Leonardo, since being a minor threat to the Snoss and long forgotten by SN and his goons, overheard what they were saying the whole time from the pebbly lake beach. Suddenly, Swiss Ninja picked up Clovis and threw him deep into the Lake.
Everyone, including Leonardo, was shocked as they saw the helpless Clovis sink to the bottom of the Lake.
Austin:"Woah, nice throw. That takes care of everything!"
Swiss:"Yeah, well, we can take Piper with us to Sicilia. I belive he should get some different type of punishment...."
Vincent:"Hurray for Snowzerland!"
The bounty hunters then left and walked away back to their hotel. Leonardo took out his trusty knife and started swimming out to the lake as fast as he could to where Clovis had sank. He then dived in, to find that Clovis was now concious again but was vigorously struggling within the ropes. Leonardo sliced the ropes, freeing Clovis, who floated back up to the surface again, coughing, sputtering and trying to gasp some air. Leonardo helped him swim back to the pebbly lake beach. Clovis lay there, coughing still, since all that struggling took a lot of energy out of him.
Clovis:"Thanks Leonardo...*cough* You're a live saver. *cough, cough* But...where is Piper??"
Leonardo:"He was taken away! He's going to be taken to Sicilia!"
Clovis jumped up immediately, like as if nothing had happened to him.
Clovis:"Darn! Sicilia! We have to stop those bounty hunters before they reach that place! Who knows what the PWN Mafia is going to do to Piper...especially after what happened at the casinos in Las Puffles! Piper is sure to get it! Anyways, I think it's time to give some payback to Austin for throwing me into the lake...!"
Leonardo:"Actually....Austin didn't do it. It was your brother, Swiss Ninja."
Clovis:"Huh? My brother? I know we have have been enemies...but that's wrong...how could he want to kill his own family member? What a monster!"
Leonardo:"He is. I'm still impressed that he came himself to do it too."
Clovis:"Arg, then let's not make haste then. We better pack up and leave now. TO SICILIA!"
However, XTUX stayed behind just in case if Clovis or anyone else was to survive. He then aimed his built-in gun at Leonardo...but instead of loading it with lead bullets, he placed a tiny microscopic chip inside the barrel, preparing to fire it....XTUX fired, but his timing failed when a car drove out of the alleyway, smashing the side window into pieces. The driver got upset and got out to chase him, so XTUX ran away up the alley deep into the town.
XTUX muttered under his breath:"Darn, I missed! I'll get you next time, fools!"
It wasn't long before Clovis and Leonardo quickly packed and checked out of the hotel. Now, all they needed was a ride.
Leonardo:"Where are we going to find a car?"
Clovis:"I don't know. Anyways, I am not licenced, nor am I good a driving cars. I plainly fail."
Suddenly, two penguins riding a motor scooter drove up to the front of the hotel and parked it. The driver left the keys inside the vehicle since he left his girlfriend to watch it for him.
Clovis:"Hey, there's our ride!"
Leonardo:"Errr..Clovis...I thought you said you couldn't drive..."
Clovis and Leonardo walked to the girl who was still sitting on the back of the motor scooter.
Clovis:"Can we please borrow that motor scooter?"
Girl:"No! Of course not!"
Clovis:"Oh well."
Clovis shoved the girl off the motor scooter, and got on. Leonardo then jumped in the back, and the two sped off onto the road.
Leonardo:"Um....what was that? That seemed so OOC. We're the Hochstadt Gang, not Swiss Ninja's cronies! I thought you said you couldn't drive either!"
Clovis:"Well, Piper's life is at stake, Leonardo. I have save him. No, I can't drive, but riding a motor scooter is easy for me, it to me is like riding a bike."
Leonardo:"Err..I thought you aren't licenced either."
Clovis:"I'm not."
Leonardo: O_O
Clovis:"Yeah, I know it's wrong, but I can't always be the good guy all the time, Leonardo. Not at times like these!"
The two then drove out of the Ligurian alps, passed by Milano, and entered the famed Tuskan Countryside.
They drove through the endless amounts of scenic hills covered in wheat with dotted villas and farmhouses. It was the main agricultural area of Liguria.
Clovis:"Hey, Leonardo, it's best you call Sancho right now..tell him we're heading to Dellaroma for gas. We will need his help for the rescue mission."
Leonardo:"OK."
Leonardo called Sancho, who suprizingly was in the city of Graples at the time. Sancho agreed that they would meet in Bugzymo, the provincial capital of Double Sicilia. Leonardo then hung up when the conversation was done.
Clovis:"Hey, Leonardo, do you know what my name means?"
Leonardo:"What? Clovis? No, I don't know what it means. What is it?"
Clovis:"It's an old Alemanian name, not Frankterran...that means, 'famous warrior'. I know it's hard to imagine me being that."
Leonardo:"But you sure have the capabilities of being one. That scene with the motor scooter was good enough proof."
Suddenly, the two began to hear the sound of a jet engine. Leonardo then turned around to see XTUX trying to catch up to them.
Leonardo:"Uh oh. It's XTUX Hun! I've heard rumors of him. He's dangerous! I bet Swiss hired him to catch us. Clovis, start using evasive maneuvers!"
Clovis:"Ok...hey look, a raising bridge!"
It looked like Clovis and Leonardo were too late, for the moveable bridge began to rise since there was a boat traveling down the river.
Leonardo:"Oh darn! We're cornered!"
Clovis:"No we're not!"
Leonardo: O_O "NO! NO! NO! DON'T JUMP IT, YOU MADMAN! WE'RE GOING TO DIE!"
Clovis only went faster, and drove up as fast as he could up the rising bridge. They soon flew into the air.....
Leonardo:"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
XTUX did not see this coming, and he crashed into the raised bridge, leaving a perfect enbrossed image of himself on the bridge. The bridge was later named "Embossed XTUX Bridge Fail Bridge BLEAHBLEAHBLEAH" (the last bit was coined by an unknown grafiti artist who ruined the sign). Nobody exactly knew how this happened. Eventually, Clovis and Leonardo landed on the other side, still driving as fast as the scooter could go.
Luckily, XTUX was alright, and soon flew after the two travelers again.
Leonardo:"Hey, Clovis, he's after us again!"
Clovis:"Hmmmph."
Leonardo:"He's too fast! There's no way we can go faster than him!"
Clovis:"Hmm. I think that the question should not be 'how fast can we go', but 'how slow can we go'."
Leonardo:"Huh? Clovis, this is no time for riddles!"
Clovis then hit the break pedal of the scooter and came to a complete stop. XTUX also didn't see that coming, and he crashed into Clovis, Leonardo, and the Motor Scooter, picking them up with him into the air.
XTUX:"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! I CAN'T SEE!"
Clovis:"Perfect! Let's steer him and we'll be in Sicilia in no time!"
That moment, XTUX flew over the majestic city of Dellaroma. Clovis blindfolded XTUX so that he could not see, while Leonardo began steering their course to Sicilia. XTUX was going very fast. Incredibly so. Soon the island of Double Sicilia and the city of Bugzymo came into view. XTUX then began to struggle more, making him harder to control.
Clovis:"Come on, come on! Almost there!"
Clovis then punched XTUX in his jaw, knocking his head to the side. Suddenly, he froze, and very loud opera music started to blare from his head which made his speed become uncontrollable!
Leonardo:"HOW DO YOU LAND AN XTUX?"
Clovis:"I don't know! We're going to have to land in the ocean! Point down!"
XTUX then plunged down into the ocean, only half a mile away from the beaches of Bugzymo. Luckily he regained conciousness when he splashed into the water with Clovis and Leonardo. By now, XTUX was just too tired to do anything about it, so he just floated in the water while Clovis and Leonardo began swimming back to shore...or that's what they thought. The two then met Sancho in the city square, Cantar De Quatro Gangstas. However, being a cyborg has its advantages. XTUX rose from the water, activated the engines, and landed on an apartment building near the Gang.
Sancho:"Hey, Clovis and Leonardo. You guy's are here early! I wasn't expecting to see you guys until several hours from now!"
Clovis:"Let's just say we hitched a ride and got here early. Now do you know where Piper is?"
Sancho:"Yes. I do. Piper is being held captive in Bugzy's Sicilian Palace, Palazzo de Bugzy."
Clovis:"Then lets make no haste and go there immediately."
XTUX was already listening to the conversation between Clovis, Sancho, and Leonardo. He did the same thing again, loading his built-in gun with a tiny microscopic chip. This time, he aimed at Sancho.
Fwip!
XTUX had fired, and the microchip made little noise as it struck the back of Sancho's head. Sancho flinched at first when it did hit his head.
XTUX (under his breath):"That's for banning Austin from flying, you jerk."
Clovis:"Hey, Sancho, are you ok?"
Sancho:"Uh..yeah..I am...something hit the back of my head..."
Leonardo:"Um...I don't think Sancho's ok..."
Sancho:"No, I am fine. Let us go to the palace now."
Sancho then started walking like a robot, leading Clovis and Leonardo to the palace.
Bugzy, Swiss Ninja, all the gangsters and the bounty hunters were now surrounding Piper in the ballroom of Bugzy's Palace.
Swiss Ninja:"What shall be the punishment for this little furball? He's an outlaw to the nation of Snowzerland, and I also understand he attacked two of your goons as well, right?"
Bugzy:"Yeah. He did."
Swiss:"Then we must find a punishment good enough for this rascal!"
Suddenly, the palace doors were smashed open by Sancho.
Sancho:"Greeting, brethren! I bring to you Clovis Hochstadt and Leonardo di Tremezzo!"
Clovis and Leonardo stood dumbfounded as everyone looked at them.
Clovis:"Wow, this is so unlike Sancho. I thought we were going to attack with an element of surprise!"
Leonardo:"I know! He just exposed us!"
Clovis:"No...Sancho isn't acting right. Something fishy is going on...."
Austin: "....Wow. That was lame, even from you scum! You walked into a room with about, say, 8 guns pointed at you!"
XTUX: "Yeah. Now PUT YOUR HANDS UP!"
Clovis spun around to see XTUX standing behind him, pointing his built-in machinegun to his forehead. He quickly turned around, where he resumed speaking.
Clovis:"Austin, I think something is wrong with him. He's not acting like his usual self..."
Austin:"Yeah, Yeah, whatever, you jester."
Swiss:"Hmmm, so you did survive after all? I must have underestimated you, Leonardo. And I suppose I underestimated you too Clovis for being able to make it here so fast. I suppose you two can join the party, as I have decided to feed you all to the sharks as your execution!"
Bugzy:"OK. Sounds fine to me. Hey, boys, get the yacht ready!"
The Sharks of Sicilia[edit]
The three travelers were soon taken deep into the ocean, where a bunch of sharks were swimming around. Bugzy parked his yacht in the water, and Swiss Ninja began to set up the walking plank. Then, the three where lined up on the plank, preparing to be pushed off into the shark infested ocean. Piper was in the front, and Clovis was in the back. Now, Clovis then discovered that Sancho had a little chip stuck to the back of his head.
Clovis:"No...It can't be...."
Leonardo:"What?"
Clovis:"It's the only explanation!"
Leonardo:"What are you talking about?"
Clovis:"Hey, XTUX!"
XTUX:"What?"
Clovis:"Are mind control chips waterproof?"
XTUX:"No. Don't worry, I'm not going to put one on you since you're going to die anyways."
Clovis:"ok."
Clovis then spat on the chip that was controlling Sancho. The chip malfunctioned and died, allowing Sancho to control himself again.
Sancho:"Eww....who spitted on me?!"
Sancho: "Where is my silk tie or my silk suit or dress shirt? THAT WAS ONE THOUSAND PEBBLES!
XTUX:"Darn. I wished I saw that coming. Well, I sold it on the black market for over one MILLION PEBBLES! :P"
Sancho:"Hey!"
Sancho punched XTUX in the jaw, making him stagger back. Sparks began to emit from XTUX's head and his head emmitted a recording of a cheesy soap opera.
Sancho:"That's what you get for controlling me!"
Austin:"That explains a lot. Oh well, too bad you're gonna die now!"
Austin then grabbed Sancho, and shoved him at Clovis, Leonardo, and Piper, who all then fell off the walking plank.
Sancho, Clovis, Leonardo, and Piper:"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
However, the Snoss and UPM did not hear a splash.
Swiss:"Huh? Did they fall into the water?"
Suddenly, they saw the travelers safe from harm......on the speedboat of Gaston! Gaston then drove his speedboat back to his yacht, which was only a few feet away.
Clovis:"Thanks Gaston!"
Gaston:"Oh, I would do anything for my little brother and his friends! Anyways, I heard about your travels and about Swiss Ninja trying to stop it. I'm going to try to help you the best I can from Swiss...."
Gaston and the travelers then got into his yacht.
Gaston:"Alright, Leonardo, Piper, Sancho and I will go man the cannons! Clovis, I need you to drive the ship out of here as we make our escape."
Clovis:"But I'm not licenced! I don't know how to drive a yacht."
Gaston:"Hmmph. Don't worry about that."
Piper:"Now who keeps cannons on a yacht?"
Gaston:"I do. Ever since those TaliBEANS started stealing some of my yachts."
Leonardo: O_O
Sancho:"Eh, yachts are not my thing."
The four then went off to the cannons, leaving Clovis to drive the yacht. Clovis then nerveously looked down at the control panel...and saw the drive/reverse throddle.
Clovis:"Hmm. I think this should make it go forward."
Clovis then accidentally pulled it back into reverse. The yacht suddenly rammed right through Bugzy's yacht, and kept going while heading for shore.
Swiss:"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! We're sinking!"
XTUX:"Dang, I didn't see that coming either!"
Austin:"Hmmph. Looks like the UPM is the next enemy of Gaston."
Gaston soon ran up to the control room again, and took control of the yacht.
Clovis:"Darn, my mistake. Hey, why didn't our yacht get damaged?"
Piper:"Lemme guess, you built it with strong material so the TaliBEANs couldn't sink it, right?"
Gaston:"Correct!"
Gaston soon headed back to shore the correct way. As soon as the three travelers and Sancho reached shore, they thanked Gaston and headed for the airport.
Clovis:"Ok, Sancho, where to now?"
Sancho:"Alemania. Gottfried's already healed and is ready to join us. We will take the plane to Munchen to Hohenterngau and meet him there."
Meanwhile, Bugzy started screaming and cursing at his men for what had happened. The PWNing did not like to get PWNed, for sure. Swiss Ninja immediately took notice of this, knowing that this tension would be inflicted on him and his men.
Swiss:"Bugzy, don't worry man. How 'bout we gamble at the casino back in Bugzymo? I'll let you win the first time."
Bugzy:"Fine. Let's get back to shore..."
Reuniting in Alemania[edit]
The four of them then took the plane to Munchen, and Sancho drove them through the narrow countryside roads that led to Hohenterngau. They then parked their car and walked up the hill to the gate of the Castle to find Gottfried alive and well, standing there with his armor back on.
Gottfried:"Clovis! Leonardo! Piper! It's good to see you all again! I am ready to rejoin you guys on our quest...and I suppose I shall resume writing the journal..."
Clovis:"Oh, right, I forgot to write some of it!"
Gottfried:"No worries, Clovis. Anyways, I heard of your courageous and clever escapes. I suppose you took my advice."
Clovis:"I did."
Gottfried:"'Tis good to see that."
Sancho:"Hey, guys, let me take a picture! Smile!"
Sancho:"Ok, it turned out good."
Gottfried:"Come, let us come inside and drink some hot Cocoa or tea served with some sweets."
Gottfried led them inside.
An excerpt from Gottfried's Journal:
I, Gottfried Hochstadt now return to writing my journal once again as I have fully recovered. So I have heard of Clovis's escapes and close calls. I've heard of his visit to Liguria, visiting Lago di Lario to be attacked by SN, and later chased him down to Double Sicilia, a beautiful island relm owned by the UPM. I now am writing this in my beloved home, the Hohenterngau Castle here in Alemania, my homeland. Very soon we shall face our challenge as we will visit Osterreach, then Snowzerland...and eventually to Terninia where we will rescue S2. From there I hope to go to Magyaria for a visit. Then we'll head for Japaland and Asiania...Valnordore, and finally Waffleland. Then, I suppose we head back to CP isle, where our quest will be finished.
The travlers slept at the Hohenterngau Castle, taht night, but the next day they had breakfast and headed to Munchen to catch a plane to Wein, Osterreach....beginning their quest into the dangerous Snoss Territories....
Osterreach[edit]
The five travlers, including Sancho, soon found themselves walking out of the very outdated airport in Wien, Osterreach. It was the only public airport on the whole island, but the Hochstadts were lucky enough to be able to access the island withough being arrested.
Clovis:"So, what do we do in Osterreach?"
Gottfried:"I know a penguin named Ludvig Von Beathaven...I suppose he can house us for now."
Clovis:"Who is Ludvig Von Beathaven?"
Gottfried:"A music composer. He once performed in Hohenterngau. He was born in Alemania, actually, in the city of Bonn-Bonn."
Clovis:"Hmmph. Never heard of him."
Gottfried:"Of course not. He was very popular during the time of Olde Antarctica and Colonial Antarctica. He plays classical music. Since Osterreach is very old fashioned, Beathaven still is very popular and continues to compose here."
Sancho:" Well, the airport here is very obselete. In fact, the terminal does not even have any computers, nor does it even have any adequate facilities for the security. Adding to that statement, the security force here just places a small stamp on your passport and younare free-to-go. The airport is not in compliance with FAAA Code 45.5 Sub-Chapter 7, Paragraph 3 and FAAA Code 65.0 Chapter 8, Paragraph 6. The FAAA Office has not even notified the board about this! Any who, speaking of music, I do have five tickets to a concert here, at one of the famous opera houses here.
Gottfried led the penguins to an old Opera house known as the Theater an der Wien. They entered to find no one inside the auditorium.
Clovis:"Beathaven lives in an Opera House?"
Gottfried:"Yes, on the second floor, though. He performed many of his concerts, operas, and symphonies here."
Gottfried then turned into a hallway that led to a flight of stairs taht took them to the second story. Gottfried then walked up to a door entitled "Herr Beathaven" and knocked on it.
No one answered. Gottfried knocked again. Still nothing.
Sancho:"Where is he?"
Gottfried:"Hmmm. I don't know. He's usually home, I though."
Suddenly, they could hear singing behind the door.
Leonardo:"No, he's home...I don't think he can hear us though..."
Piper:"What, is he deaf or something?"
Gottfried:"Actually, yes, he is. His hearing has been declining since he's been getting older."
Gottfried opened the door to find the music composer scibbling notes on a sheet of paper for his next symphony. The penguin of Ludvig Von Beathaven was not what they expected him to be. He was very dirty, his hair was a mess. His clothes were old fashioned and tattered. His house was a mess, with musical notes and writing scibbled on the walls, curtains, and the window shutters. Obviously, he didn't care where he wrote down his music, as long as he did it somewhere. Also hearing him sing and dancing around to his own melodies with no one around, gave him the appearance of a madman. Lucklily, he stopped what he was doing when his guests arrived, and greeted them. He had a thick German accent.
Beathaven:"Gut Evening to you all. Wilkommen to my heim."
Gottfried:"Danke, Herr Beathaven. We would like to stay at your home for the night."
Beathaven:"Vhat?"
Gottfried:"We would like to stay at your home for the night....in the guest rooms."
Beathaven:"Vhat?? I can not hear yoo! Schpeak up!"
Gottfried:"We would like to stay at your home for the night!"
Beathaven:"Vhat????"
Gottfried screamed:"I SAID, WE WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT YOUR HOME FOR THE NIGHT!"
Beathaven:"You vant me to sing a poem of mine???"
Gottfried screamed at the top of his lungs:"NO! WE WANT TO STAY AT YOUR HOME FOR THE NIGHT! TO SLEEP!"
Beathaven:"Oh, you vant to sleep here tonight. Sure! I have rooms ready, please, follow me..."
Gottfried was left behind has he tried to catch his breath.
Beathaven led the four members to their individual guest rooms, which were much tidier and cleaner. They then unpacked and made themselves at home.
Beathaven:"Oh goot. In an hour vou will be able to vitness my newest symphonies! I hope you all can attend!"
Gottfried:"Oh, we'd love to."
Beathaven:"What?"
Gottfried:"I said that we would love to come."
Beathaven:"What? You love to hum? Good! Then I'll see you there then!"
Beathaven walked away happily as Gottfried did a facepalm.
Two hours later, the gang was intently listening to a woman penguin singing a high note during the finale of the opera.
"LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then a male penguin joined her.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The next thing you know it, the two of them are yodeling and singing in German.
'"Yooooodelaihoooo.......yodel odel odel odelaihooooooo....."'
Finally, the two singers combined their voices.
"Fur mein Osterreach, fur Snowzerland! Yoooooooooooooooooooodelaihoooooo!!!!!!!!!!"
The two then bowed and went off stage. The audiance was not very pleased, though. They've seen operas like these a hundred times before, and they seemed to have the same rhythems, verses, tunes, and yodels. Not only that, the economic trouble that Osterreach had faced before annexation had still left many penguins miserable and jobless. Only after joining Snowzerland did they begin to get more jobs.
Yet, people lightly clapped and walked away. The travelers found the performance to be decent though, since they don't hear the works of Beathaven very often. They took a stroll down the streets of Wein afterwards. The city was very nice, and had many beautiful cafes and stores. Tomorrow, they would head for the airport again and fly to Snowzerland....the heart of the enemy.
An excerpt from Gottfried's Journal:
The city of Wein, Osterreach reminds one of the past, much like Frostborough.....except that all of Osterreach is like this since they have been seperated from society for very long. The city has many nice cafe's like those in Parie, and is or was home to many famous musicians like Ludvig Von Beethaven, Rotzart, and Heiydn.
