A public apology for my actions, they were wrong and careless. I let my emotions guide my decision instead of actually thinking with a clear head, this is not who I am. I've been known to be as neutral as possible, and I've blown it all away. I hurt the content of this wiki.
I now see what TS meant when he said "globally blocking him will hurt the wiki", because he meant that it would hurt the content of the wiki, however it would seem that the way he was typing implied that he was acting like he was the wiki. It was a big misunderstanding. Staff rights have changed me, and I can't have that. Refractor / localtoast deserves to be the fanon representative, not I. I was so blinded with staff rights, I became the very thing I seeked to get rid off. That is why, effective as of now, I am resigning from staff. After I have finished typing this message, I will demote myself back down to helper. I certainly do not deserve staff rights, and to all the people trying to make me feel good by saying "learn from your mistakes" on IRC - I have learnt from this mistake, and the only way to prove it is to demote myself back down to helper.
However, I am NOT apologizing to TS for the words I said. Manipulators are scum. My personal opinion, but it certainly does not equal what other people think. I still retain my personal thoughts, but nothing gives me nor anyone else the right to start banning willy-nilly just because of personal belief. Now I can see why TS does these things when he has power, which by the way he will not be having. Staff consensus has proven he sucks with power, and via that consensus I also suck with power. Ergo, I am hereby resignating my title as staff. Maybe I might become staff again someday, but it just isn't ready for me yet. Zone <staff /> 21:58, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
