So, a few weeks ago I started thinking about liberating Turtly through a story. TurtleShroom is the current OOC holder, so I asked him for permission. However, he hasn't gotten back to me about it. I'm somewhat impatient, so I decided that I'm going to start it now and just hope he approves. However, I'd like help, advice, comments, ideas, etc. etc.

I could probably write the story myself without making this blog, except I'm missing a few pieces of information, and I don't want to write this half-tailfeathered. Here are some of the things I've researched:

  • Turtly: Originally inhabited by appr. 210,000 turtles, tortoises, and crabs, who were led by King Tortoise and President Crabby.
  • In 2009, the Imperial Emperor and his forces went into Turtly, couped the government (and forced it into exile), and captured or chased out all of it's former citizens. It took on the name Zenthexia, and from what i'm gathering it's only inhabited by the Imperial Forces.
  • In addition, the island is split into seven different territories called "nations". Each "nation" is ruled by one of the Seven Imperial Warriors (or whatever they're called). According to this article, each of these warriors was created via DNA splicing, and mixing the DNA with some form of an amulet's power (light, fire, water, dark, idk. All I know is that Xel'Naga is dark power).
  • Since Turtly is covered by the tide during the day, the Emperor had a "titanium glass dome" built around the entire island to stop it from flooding. However, I assume that there have to be multiple entrances around the dome.

Now, here's some discrepancies:

  • The Zenthexia page says the population is like 45 million penguins. With my prediction before, I am almost certain that the only inhabitants are the Imperial Forces- and there's no way the force is that large. This may not be a huge part of the story, but I want to find a more appropriate number just to have it in the back of my mind.
  • How strong are the Imperial Forces? According to my research they lost against Darktan's Army. Fine. But how strong is Darktan's army? That page doesn't say how many people are part of the [Darktonian] army; It doesn't even say what weapons they use!
  • Speaking of weapons, what weapons do the Imperial Forces use?! I plan on only having snowball-related guns in the story, but it may help if I knew what weapons the enemies wielded :/

Now, an opinion question. How exactly should I mop up the remaining Imp. forces? Once I sack the emperor and his castle, there are still hundreds, thousands, maybe millions (according to the zenthexia page) of other soldiers throughout the island. Soo... should the PSA/EPF (or some other force) come in and clean up the rest (to make up for the previous attempt), should the Jedi take their time and mop through the rest of the island (unlikely), etc. etc. I want to hear any and all ideas YOU have, and/or would like to see.

Another question about the imperials' fate comes into play. Where should they all go? If they're not being killed (since snowball guns are being used), where would they all go? Would they all escape the island? Would they all be sent to some prison somewhere? More importantly, what is the fate of the emperor? If he is captured, what would happen to him? These are questions that I need help with :P
