Well after Brant's blog about annexing "useless" countries was shot down, the general consensus of the wiki is that we shouldn't just annex countries to improve them, we should primarily try to improve them. However, what happens to the countries that this already happened to?

The Land of Flystar55555 is the most prominent country this happened to in 2013. And it wasn't "useless" of a LQQA at all. Bro and Amigo annexed it to make their countries more powerful, but this has not improved the quality of the articles. Compare Land of Flystar55555 to either of the colonies and you'll see it is a much more detailed article. Not to mention most of the "details" on the other articles just came from the original anyways.

Furthermore this broke the OOC policy. Even though Flystar55555 quit, his wishes should be respected and he never intended for his country to be annexed. In fact on the Flystar55555 page it says that he is king until 2026, and is succeeded by someone who he even created an article for. The OOC policy states "The user who adopts the article should, out of respect, continue to follow the previous OOC boundaries set up by the previous holder of OOC rights and continued suggestions made by the previous holder." and the annexation can hardly be considered respecting the continued suggestions of FLystar55555.

Because of this I ask that Flystonia be unannexed. We can do this two ways. First is to remove all mentions of the annexation, and have it simply be retconned out of the wiki. We can do this rather easily since links and mentions of North and South Flystonia are rather few.

The other way is to have Flystar55555 regain control over the country, either through Shops and Amataria willingly giving it back, or winning it through battles. North Flystonia and South Flystonia will be redirected to Land of Flystar5555, since they have the exact same background and it is pointless to list it 3 times. This can be discussed later once the community votes.

• Looking at your points, I completely agree and I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, how Flystar had actually planned the future of his country out... I'll comment more on Bro's talk page, but I think the only other person who needs to agree is Amigopen, since she also holds OOC in this matter (and if she approves, then it's automatically ok). I think it would be better to have Flystar regain control of the country. The other option would necessitate content removal, but this way you could even write a story of how control is regained or add on more content related to it. -- Chub777(Talk Page) 06:47, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
