I have been concerned about the Forum:Raise the bar Petition becuase some say it is uncencored. I know that people want to step up action, romance, kills and stuff, and that's ok as long as it doesn't go too far. My Idea is that we put up the "Universality Law" or the Law of Univeral Themes. (Yes, I made it up myself)
Definition[edit]
The Universality law states that what you write stories and articles that should be something that ANYONE can read; From young people to old. The things we should write should limit a person from reading it, and that most people should like it.
- When I mean "Most People" I am talking about those who are interested in your writing.
What i mean that "People should like it" is that you should put stuff in your stories/articles that something that we can all agree on. Meaning that we should NOT NOT NOT put any offensive, contreversial,utterly disgusting, or un-religious things on them.
This Law doesn't prevent you from doing ceartain things; just find more creative ideas
Remember, what we write are for the READERS. Not just yourself, but....be creative and find a way to make it into the boundaries of Univerality!
Petition:Raise the Bar[edit]
In a Sense, I am somewhat for the raise the bar petition, as long as it doesn't go too far. Here's what I think should me adjusted and should be added to the Universality Law Boundaries:
- Action & Death - As long as there is no details, like Blood, Gore, or Amputations, It's OK. Just make it very simple and don't go into detail.
- Romance - Romance is perfectly Fine with me. Just DONT go into detail or even mention about what happens in the bed.....if you know what I mean.
- Human Contact (I want this) - Human contanct should be ok. I would like to think that in that episode of P&F where Perry dresses up like a human and Dr. D and other Humans Can't tell he's a platypus. The same can be done with Penguins....if you know what I mean. (this is a Non-Canon wiki!)
Also, please vote.
This Law will help solve our Un-Censored Wiki Problem once and for all, and so that we can make everyone satisfied.
