Greetings. I don't usually come on down and write a Blog, but I wish to share with all of you a story which hits right in my own neighborhood, at the very Waffle House my grandfather and I dine at on scattered daybreaks.

The subject? Egypt.

There, in the Waffle House, works a ten-year legal immigrant from Egypt. I know her only as "Miss Nada", her surname being concealed. Miss Nada and her children fled Egypt when the kids were but three years old because she is a member of the Coptic denomination of Christianity. They are infamously and mercilessly persecuted by Egypt's domineering Muslim popuilation. Their fate hangs in the balance.

Tomorrow, Egypt will decide its future and elect its Parliament, then the President next year. THIS PARLIAMENT WILL CONVENE A HUNDRED MAN DELEGATION TO WRITE THE CONSTITUTION OF EGYPT. HE WHO CONTROLS THE PARLIAMENT CONTROLS EGYPT'S CONSTITUTION.

Below is an outline of the three parties from the local paper:

• 

  The terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) are seeking election to kill Egypt by slowly creeping in their Satanic, brutal Shariah tyranny under the guise of freedom.

• 

  This fascist party (FPE) will immediately implement an even more extreme form of the MB's ultimate goal, and will- mark my words, WILL -result in the genocide of the Coptic Christians.

• 

  Despite being secularist, this party needs the backing of God Himself, and through this party, the Lord will deliver Egypt and His Coptic children from the jaws of the false god. These guys are the men to pray for.

• 

  The newspaper article in full. The other parties are third-party and mean nothing.

Miss Nada speaks of brutal persecution of her denomination and implores the Revolution of Egypt bring a Western democracy that can deliver her people (the Coptics) from the Islamic tyranny of all that want to kill them.
She specifically asked me to pray for her. I forwarded her request to my church, then to my father, and now, for you.

Egypt needs your prayers. I see three paths, and two lead to the same goal of destruction and death. One is just a slower death (MB), the other instant (FPE) .

• God's plan? I see Him in two ways.
  • By electing merciless tyrants like MB, God is exacting His Wrath on the land that crushed His Chosen People (the Jews) and His Children (the Christians) for millinea.
  • By electing the secularists that seek freedom, God is delivering Egypt to prosperity and goodness upon the backs of the Coptic Christians. Much like He promised to spare Soddom and Gomorrah if Father Abraham and Lot found ten good men, the Coptics could bring Egypt out of the shadows of death.

Either way, His Will will be supreme, so I beseech all of your prayers, so that He may hear our cries and the cries of the Coptics, as He did to the Jews in Egypt in the days of Moses, and deliver them from death and slavery to persecution.

Please think of them in the days ahead. Tell your church. Pray. Just... pray.

Commentary

I've followed this for months

This isn't new news to me. I've heard about the Coptic Christians being attacted mercilessly ever since the Revolution Started. Fear not for Israel, TS, for the bible says that Israel would become a nation once again, and it did in 1948, and so i view it to be staying that way until the Tribulation period. Just don't fear, TS, we are getting closer and closer to the Tribulation Period if you know it or not. The Coptic Christians may be at risk, but they aren't afraid to die because they know they won't die twice. We should pray for them, still, for it is God's will, not our own, who will determine Egypt's fate. The crisises and revolutions in the middle east has caused rebellion in an area of strict dicatorships. All this is doing is making the new revolutionized countries to become more One World related, which will help the AntiChrist take over the world easily. It's all part of the great plan, TS. Only God can make change, not man, not nukes, no UN or USA, but God only.

News of the Day and God's Plan

First off, I'd just like to say that I'm back, even though I never really left, just took somewhat of a break. TS, you said it would be "God's wrath", but in actuality the modern Egyptians are a mix of Arabs, Libyans, and Greeks. The old Egyptians converted to Coptic Christianity and the "pure" line (if you could call it that) is now basically gone. It's all part of God's plan anyway. My church and house group have been praying for the Middle East for quite some time now, since the "Arab Spring" began. In other news I went to a Catholic Church with my family this Sunday (yes, I'm a church-hopper, going from Baptist to Church of Ireland to House to Catholic, sometimes in the same week) only to find out that they've completely changed the English Mass. It's completely confusing and I think they've made up many of the words, for example instead of "one with the Father" in the Nicene Creed being replaced with "consubstantial". Alas, I'm ranting.

In other news, Iran is going mad, threatering to blow up Turkey if "Big Satan and Little Satan" (USA and Israel) attack. Israel feels threatened so they are pointing their missiles towards Iran. China and Russia are sitting on the sidelines, just watching, while giving the capitalist world a lesson in free market economics. Meanwhile in Europe the debt in spiraling out of control, democracy in Ireland and Greece is gone, and Angela Merkel sees this as a golden opportunity to give Germany "living space" in a united Europe where Germany and France hold all the chips. The North is trying to back off, the UK and Canada won't stop giving everyone advice but we all know no one is really listening to them, and the South is in trouble. At least Ireland is actually coming out of our depression, and our debt was caused by our government buying out the banks, unlike the south where it was from retirement at 55 and 6 weeks paid vacation a year. I'm ranting again!I didn't mean to go on this long. Oh well, in conclusion the entire world is in a mess! Pray for us all!

Your ignorance of capitalism and the economy needs some serious schooling from me: call me a corporate slave if you want. Nuking the stock market also nukes the peoples' 401K and most everything that drives the economy. If it wasn't for governmental bailouts and involvements the Free Market, after a short period of turmoil and agony brought forth by bankruptcy filings, would heal itself and FLUSH OUT THE BAD COMPANIES.

Singapore, Austrailia, and New Zealand

• • • The only countries that I know that are still doing well are Singapore (biased or not, that's the truth), Australia and New Zealand (I have to admit, despite the Christchurch earthquake and company, Oceania has held up pretty well against the crisis(es).   • You are an agnostic, yes? You don't understand the finality of the decision of faith. One God is real, all others are false, and Allah is a false god. As a Christian, to say anything else is blasphemy to God. Acknowleding and considering the reality of an man-made idol or faith is as blasphemous as bowing before it, for "God is a jealous God" and demands your sole attention. (Not THAT kind of jealously, mind you. The Tenth Commandment is broken when your jealously leads you to sin. The true party is the broad and uninfluenced one.

I've considered it thoroughly and I believe that the party with the most broad and uninfluenced view of Egypt is the one to vote for. I'd like to cite prominent examples such as Singapore, which does not root any particular religion, race or language but consider the community as a whole. With Muslims being the dominant population of Egypt, there has to be some Islamic principles and morals to be instilled within the Constitution that would not be against other minorities' perspectives of the government. Should the Christian leader of the group take into account the fundamental needs and wants of the majority, while keeping the minorities' views noticed, Egypt may strike a chance.

So I guess if the Egyptian Bloc has the undivided view of Egypt while keeping fundamental policies intact that would propel the nation forward, then I'll vote for them.

Also, TurtleShroom, you're taking your religion in the wrong direction. I read an article in Reader's Digest about how religions should all be treated equally. People have different ways of worshipping God but that does not infer each other's principles to be of no morality. Every religion has its pros and cons. Even atheists may have a point or two in their beliefs. You can't just say "Islam is satanic". That's bigotry. Who knows? The Bible has been modified throughout the centuries. God asked us to love everybody no matter what sin they've committed. Don't be like that horrible Pastor of Florida who's actually a devil in a sheep's clothing. I'll respond one by one.

• One: you are correct in your fate of Egypt in these parties. The party of Egypt's salvation if the Egypt Bloc and friends: the secularists that want no Muslim tyranny and a government that picks no favorite.

• Two: the Reader's Digest is not God's divinely inspired word. It does not tell me how to live my life and has no authority over my religious views. That is the sole jurisdiction of the Holy Bible. In the Bible, God Himself says that He is the ONLY God, and His faith the ONLY faith, and to acknowledge any other faith except for what it is- FAKE -is blasphemy against Him. If you don't think Islam is satanic, I'll remind you where it's spawned from: Father Abraham's sinful act of fornication (against what God said) with Hagar (despite having Sarah's permission) spawned Ishmael. The Bible says he "lived by the sword", and Abraham requested he be blessed anyway. Ishmael became Islam. The elgitimate son of promise, Isaac, spawned the Jews, and through that family line, forking at King David, was Jesus Christ of Nazareth, which is why ther New Testament also refers to the Christians as the "seed of Abraham" by proxy.
  • For some reason, excluding something is bigotry. Exluding the gays (which the Bible calls an abomination) and defending classical marriage is bigotry. My religion commands me to denounce and remove idols and false gods and teachings from my presence: by saying what I said about Allah and him being fake, I am obeying this. Calling Islam a false faith serving a false god is bigotry? If so, I am mandated to be a bigot, and by the way, calling me that means NOTHING.

Swiss Ninja was RIGHT! Multicultarism may be the death of Europe if they don't soon learn the ideas of "give and take", "two way street", "assimilation" and the "conform to society and society will conform to you" teachings that my own mother drilled into me.

• Three: I do not hate Muslims. I hate Islam (the sin), not Islamists (the sinners). In fact, if there's one sect that needs Christ, it's the Muslims. They need Jesus. They need freedom from their evil warrior faith and its false god. They need a religion of love and compassion, of salvation, truth, and loving their neighbor and family through thick and thin. If anyone needs that, it's the Muslims.
  • The Bible tells of Ishmael, and in the New Testament, even compares Ishmael and Isaac as life and death, freedom and slavery, good and evil. I can site that from Scripture if you follow up and ask it.

• Four: that pastor is more than just lost. He's a servant of Satan whether or not he knows it and is destroying the image of the Church and of God, and his acts have spilt the blood of innocents because some Islamic fundies don't have the intelligence of a half-eaten, moldy ham sandwhich- emphasis on ham -and somehow linked his servitude to wickedness to a random diplomatic goodwill envoy, and killed them. That "pastor" spilt blood by hias act, and for that, he should be excommunicated and made to think LONG AND HARD about whom he truly serves.
  • Burning a Qu'ran is evil, even if the Qu'ran is evil. A Christian can't win a Muslim soul without love and a lot of seed planting. Who knows how many souls that one act has damned to the fiery depths of Hell forever?

• Five: saying Islam has pros and cons is like saying Planned Parenthood has pros and cons. While PP does perform dirt-cheap women's health measures like mammograms, pregnancy tests, contraceptives, and the like, it is also responsible for the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent fetuses every year. PP is first and foremost an abortion mill. If it can't cleanse that from it, its good has no loss. If I walk an old lady across the street and work at the soup kitchen, and then spend the rest of my day swindling people out of their house and home, am I good? Islam has so many blackhearted followers and death commands that nothing can redeem it but Jesus. At least the worst passages of the Bible (that call for death) only apply to Jews, not the whole world! Many Islamists interpret their scriptures to call for world domination, and even the name "Islam" implies it: in its original tongue, Islam is "submission". -and not the good kind.

• We come from very different cultures and backgrounds, Alex. If you really want to see what Islam can do in servitude of the evil one, I can forward you to a family-unfriendly, depressing blog that chronicles actions of Islamists every day. It goes beyond my hatred of the Islamic faith and hates the sinner, but if you can look past that, you can see for yourself its darkness.
  

Every thing has good people in it. Islam, Occupy Wall Street, Marxist parties, dictatorships, EVERYTHING. I'm not speaking of these. I'm speaking of all the bad. When a Christian commits an act of terror, all of Christendom will condemn and order its destruction and eviction from the faith. (Example: pedophiles in the church. I had a Baptist pastor down the road from me caught with "Inappropriate Term". Everyone demanded his defrocking, excommunication, and urged the top prison sentence. He's STILL rotting.)

• • My grandfather told me why he thinks Islam is evil. When a Muslim commits an act of terror, the vast majority of fellow Muslims do not do much to denounce it. Some will give lip service and issue a press statement calling them infidels, but I don't see any true anger at the person. Christianity ostracizes and rebukes its followers that go on killing sprees and bomb abortion clinics. Islam, by and large, stands silent as its followers commit terror. To my grandfather, silence implies consent.

In response to the second point, I was taking the word from an article written by a Muslim who was pleased at the religious harmony among Americans. I understand the "all other gods are false gods" fact from the Bible as I've read it, but your phrasing makes it sound awkward and insulting.

I also believe the Qu'ran is not evil. As I said, each religion's principles and morals both have pros and cons. Maybe my short-sightedness influences my thinking, but nonetheless this does not account for Islam being "evil". The preferred word would be "misguided".

"Silence means consent". This seems true based on your perspective but I honestly know Muslims who complain about terrorist acts and how it is a perverted version of Islam. I fully agree with these Muslims.

All in all, I believe that we share very different and vast views towards Egypt and Islam in whole. Maybe you, as a Christian, may have that opinion towards Islam but I honestly have no preference whatsoever and hope each religion could tolerate the other. I will no longer participate in this discussion having expressed my views.

Multiculturalism is bad for Europe. Especially when you've got Muslim politicians demanding a Muslim state in Europe (look at the middle east if you want to see what happens when you give them countries). Sweden will be the first to go if current rates continue, although if Sverigedemokraterna gets in (which it looks like they may eventually; in fact in the last election they got a lot of support from Scania and some other areas) that may change. The Netherlands would be next, then Belgium, Norway, Germany, France, Finland, at my guess at least. And since now I'm starting to sound like a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews to some people, so I suppose I'll stop. I don't have a problem with Muslims (although I do have a problem radicalism in religion), it's just I think they should assimilate. Perhaps we should do that thing they did in the Old Testament where the two religions had a debate and they both asked their Gods to light the altar on fire or something like that. I don't know why we don't just do that nowadays. Culture of Germanic speaking nations has gone down the toilet in the past ten years anyway. Look at the USA and the UK; they are no longer as proud as they once were, Ireland is once again a laughing stock and our legendary business sense is more of a joke, Canada, Australia, and NZ seem to be decreasing in their rich colonial cultures, the Nordics are losing their culture in many ways as well as the Netherlands. And I'm ranting again.

About the NZ and Australia thing, that is very true. My Father is currently working in Western Australia at a mine. They keep having job fairs here in Ireland trying to get Irishmen to come and work out there. Also, the Canadian west seems to be doing well also as he considered going out there but eventually decided on Australia. And after I'm done secondary school I'll be heading off to NZ, Australia, or Canada to work in order to save some money to pay for my tertiary education, and then come back to Ireland. I'm a Catholic and I think this is stupid

The reasons:

• My Mum converted to Islam a few years ago, although I remain a Catholic. I have learnt that Islam is actually a very tolerant religion and is in fact messed up by a few Middle Eastern/Central Asian countries, plus Pakistan, and group of radicalised extremist, along with the state of Israel and the United States of America.
• In the USA, George Bush persecuted millions of Muslims via the PATRIOT Act. For more TurtleShroom, I suggest you buy the book Democracy Detained and decide for yourself, whether you're a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green or Constitutionalist, Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street, English Defence League or Occupy London, etc. Persecution happens all the time, on all sides, to other sides.
• Swiss Ninja, why would God want to destroy the world? I just can't imagine he would want to kill the people that he loves, he created, even to make a new one. Christians have different views of the Apocalypses; for example, an extreme Catholic probably believes that only extreme Catholics will survive, or an extreme Protestant may believe the opossitie. I like to think that if it does happen, that only the truly evil people are destroyed and everyone else has their sins cleansed for the NewWorld.
• I DO sympathise for the Coptics and I too hope for the Egypt Bloc to win the election, as does my Mum, who is a very tolerant Muslim.
• Saying the Qua'ran is evil? So is the Bible to an extent, if you read the Old Testament. The Torah can be described as evil. However all three Abrahamic books can never be interpreted literally. Saying a religious book is evil is wrong, unless it is what we, as humanity, can agree as a cult.
• If you stoop down to the level of Islamic extremist, you are an extremist. There are such things as Jewish Extremists, Hindu Extremists, Sikh Extremists, even Christian Extremists, TurtleShroom.
• I cannot imagine the Islamisation of Europe; perhaps parts of Scandinavia or Low Countries may start see Muslim parties in their Legislatures but not on a large scale. Multiculturalism usually is good but sometimes it can go too far, like in Malta, where the few hundred thousands of Maltese peoples' traditions may disappear with an influx of North African immigrants. I know, because I'm Maltese.

I agree with Agent Johnson and Speeddasher on this issue. A wiki isn't a place to argue about religion and the whole muslim/christian debate and it's not what brings in the editors. We have a forum for this sort of theological japery. I suggest you move this topic there and remove the link from the sitenotice. Agreed with SN. The wiki is no place to discuss such matters. It's a controversial topic... what is even the point of this page?
