All right. It has come to my attention that the will of the Masses is to grant our resident Mary Sue it's fricken' independence. Never grateful that they got autonomy, Sancho's greed has pushed to new bounds, and he has demanded total independenc of the most corrupt city in Antarctica. Sancho, you truly are one of the biggest ingrates I've lived to see. -and that NASTY rumor that you're gay- which you never really spoke of spare once -really pits me at the opposite scale of your ungrateful world.
For reasons I'll never understand, the people... somehow gave it to him. -and so, who am I to question that?

I tried to oppose it, and Austin did a better job by warring against it with facts and reason, but he was ignored. I'll never know what got into you people, but whatever it was, you got your wish.

Therefore, I hereby renounce my attempts to delete the Mary Sue Uprising and shall allow it to continue...

ON ONE CONDITION.

In the real world, the Founding Fathers of the United States pledged "their lives, their fortunes, and their Sacred Honor" to their cause. Is Polaris that resolute? Or do you want the beautiful little shiny happy plastic city to walk out of the USA in perfect shape? Unfortunately, Sancho, that is not how freedom works!

You must pay the price. The price is steep. -but I will not let a Mary Sue beyond all Swiss Ninja can encompass get out of here without knowing its place.

I shall burn Polairs to the ground, and then, only then, shall Polaris be free.

I show Polaris its place, and then, Polaris, reduced to ashes and weeping, prostrate on its no longer shiny happy Mary Sue knees, will buy its independence from the USA in solid gold.
Polaris is not a land of heroics and noble acts. It is the most corrupt city in Antarctica, and it must go out like it.

Ts, you cant do this. We voted and it's official. I made Sancho swear not to put homosexuality into the Republic, and i intend to keep it that way. We will work out kinks in the new country but not yet. Anyways, i do have something to pay you back with....it's something i saved for Christmas but I'll show you today in the afternoon. What Happened to You?[edit]

TurtleShroom, what has happened to you?

For all I know, wishing for Polaris to be burnt down simply because it is a Mary Sue seems to be... sinful in a way or another. I could relate it to wraith, envy and even gluttony greatly. This is NOT the TurtleShroom I know. It may even be related to pride, as in the bad kind.

Homosexuality does not matter in my opinion. Sancho once ruled all the airports, and I wanted to balance them out, but not burn them and destroy his entire airline or something. We could make modifications, such as making it less attractive in certain areas, giving it less land, etc., but to burn them seems really... undesirable. It is even worse than a parody of 9/11, and we all could relate to that.

I'm not exaggerating; it is true. I have viewed the Polaris article and it doesn't seem like a Mary Sue at all, with all the corruption taking place, it is probably not the best city ever.

I'm not sure if this make other countries Mary Sues either. MAI is the most racially harmonious country in Antarctica, with good relations and a stable economy, while other areas like Flystarland and Clearwater Island, although somewhat forgotten, are significant in some way or another.

Try not to resort to such means, TurtleShroom. At most, try creating some public accidents with the corruption ongoing in Polaris. It used to be colours. ~Alex001 15:13, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

SUGGESTION:

  • Allow white collar crime to escalate, leading to more crime activities and causing Polaris to be fourth in raking of least crime.
  • Scandals and shame to befall on Polaris's government.
  • Quality of Life to drop to 8-9 range
  • Gaps between social classes to be unanimously wide
  • Freedom within SAD restrained; media blackouts occur occasionally

This is a much better price to pay. Polaris won't be the best city, but it won't be burnt to the ground either. It would be like any other city, with its pros and cons. There.


I really have no idea what this whole thing is about, as I try to stay out of these arguments if possible, but I'm sorry I can't ignore this. TS, are you quite alright? I do not care whether it's a corrupt city, or whatever, you have no right to go burning down other peoples creations! And then you mention a "nasty rumor about Sancho being gay". Oh boo hoo! Look, I don't know Sancho at all. I'm not sure if he's a nice guy or not. But I have now got to say something I've wanted to say in awhile. Homophobia is quite possibly one of the dumbest fears on the planet (and this is coming from a Christian mind you). Despite what some people like Chris Chan might say, being gay is not something you choose and it's not something you can just stop being. It's all about what you're attracted to, and that is something that you can't change. No I'm not gay, but I understand why some people are. I'm not some shallow person who would imediatley abandon one of my friends if he/she turned out to be gay, and honestly TS if you're like that I have to say that's pretty sad.


But anyways back on topic. TS this is a place where people make articles to have fun. Not to have someone say they have to have their cities burn to ground. Keep in mind, this is a fan universe about talking multi-colored penguins. There's a limit to how seriously you can really take that (which is why I usually try to put some comedy in my stories to sorta lighten the mood). Plus, wouldn't burning a city to the ground technically kill thousands of innocent penguins. Yet you got on my case for having "one" turtle (who was a minor character mind you) be vaporized. I want you to think about that. TS, you're a great editor, but you need to learn to solve these problems. I'm not saying Sancho is completely innocent, but the way you're handling this is just wrong. Sancho, I'm not calling for death. Sherman's March to the Sea didn't cause as much death as it did destruction of property, but I see your worries, and yes, they do have justification.

Your considerations have been taken to note.

This wasn't going to be strong-armed onto Polaris. I pitched the offer and was going to see of Sancho was willing to take my bargain. I'm not going to waltz in and write a god-mod where the city is set aflame. I don't have the authority to do that, and even if I did, I wouldn't be willing to do such a thing, because the Mary Sue Uprising is the will of the people, which even I am bound to.

The problem with Sancho's Polaris is that he never uses the corruption. He'll write a Mary Sue and I'll have to come in and add the flaws. The main reason I'm ticked is not so much the Sue, but that I've given Sancho his request several times.

  • "Please give Polaris a break and have the USA off its back!" - Granted, but he still wasn't pleased.
  • "Please stop Mattress Village and others from strongly interfering with it!" - Granted, but still ingrateful.
  • "Please reduce the role of the Kingfish Complex in Poalrian history!" - Granted but ingrateful.
  • "Please let me put every government building in my skyscrapers and let the KC rot!" - Granted but ingrateful.
  • ...-and it continues...
  • "Please give Polaris more autonomy!"
    • "Fine. The BORNE is ineffective and regulatorily captured, at the mercy of Polaris."
  • "Please let Polaris make Puerto Whatever a part of itself."
  • ...-and he's never satisfied.
  • "TURTLESHROOM IS OPPRESSIVE I MUST GIVE POLARIS ARMY"
    • "TURTLESHROOM IS EVIL I MUST MAKE ALLIES WITH SNOSS"
      • "TURTLESHROOM NEVER LETS POLARIS DO ANYTHING I MUST NULLIFY RULES"


It's Sancho's selfish, unrelenting GREED that drove me up the wall to the point of wanting Polaris to burn. Nothing I do pleases him. When I give him what he wants, he demands more... -and more... -and more and more and more and more!!!
He has no respect for give-and-take. It's his way or the highway, which is a lot like this proposal. It's very insulting when I give him what he wants and then he runs over me to get more of his own will.

He's abused my kindness and willingness to strike a compromise. This is more an ultimatum than a compromise, but I was ticked because Sancho has no respect for me or anything I've let him have.


...-and he isn't going to honor his word. If he didn't honor it when he said what I gave him was fine, what makes me think he will actually stay out of the queer issues?


I'm sorry you had to see me like this, Speed, but I, like any human being, get angry, and in anger, I'm prone to going overboard. Please don't think less of me for this reason.

I thought that references to the 9/11 tragedy were banned..and the WTC did go up in flames, then collapsed, killing thousands of innocent lives. Oh well, I don't think TS will care if that happened again in America, like he wants that to occur in Polaris. Anyways, I shall not under any circumstances allow Polaris to burn to the ground. All right, I can go burn TSP on a stake if you wish...and make Kebab..Would you really want me destroying your creations? It's like a vandal throwing one of Degas' paintings into the incinerator when he has a sixth of the painting to finish. I came to this Wiki to express myself freely, and have a little fun. TS, you don't have the friggin power to do this. You don't have the power to do ANYTHING. AT ALL. How about I go and have Snowzerland destroy Holyberden? I couldn't. I don't have the power. Neither do you. You can't affect Sancho's stuff a dang bit. So, this whole thing is COMPLETELY IRRELEVENT. You have no more sway in the government of this site than your 1 vote in our democracy. Secondly, why is it a "nasty rumor" about Sancho being gay? Why are you even bringing that up? That's not relevant also. Not only that, but you take yourself too seriously. Failure background music? Check. Long, boring rant? Check. Being completely serious and typing something that's longer than a five paragraph essay? Check. Putting in some Tim Hawkins song? Check. I mean, seriously! As I sort through your comments and AgentGenius soapbox campaigning, I guess I'll take the time to dismantle and reply to each, to the best of my abilities.

This site has really warped my views when it comes to picketing and protest, and has cemented within me a cold and bitter hatred- yes, I HATE protesting/picketing/striking of (RL) dissent against the (RL) governments ordained by God. (Not to say that the CPFW's rule, or me, are ordained. After all, Internet =/= RL.)
      • (Do NOT construe this to mean that I want protestors to die like they did in China in Tinnanamen Square. There are far better ways to silence whiners than to physically maim them with military vehicles, ways that don't result in bloodshed.)

    • Last time I checked, this was not a partisan realm. If you mean ideologies, then yes.

      • Meaning that I am not malacious (harmful), but also not beneficial. I'll give you that one.

      • By thoughtful, do you mean that I respect you or care for you as a person, that I don't want harm to become the actual man behind the computer screen? Do you mean that I make attempts not to break your spirit or crush your creativity (except when I get REALLY angry, like this mishap here)?

      • I am NOT a selfless man, unfortunately. My mother can testify to that.
      • Recent psychological exams which I have partaken in to apply for SSSI benefits show that I have a total lack of concern for others' needs and wants, BUT, fortunately, that I DO have concern if my needs and wants cause harm to others. That is to say, if my own needs and wants annoy someone, offend them, or mess with them in some way, I won't care... -BUT if my actions were actually to cause them physical or mental harm, like the idea of "stepping on others to climb", or performing corrupt or unholy acts that destroy a fellow man for my own gain, then yes, I do care for th other person and would NEVER tear them down to build myself up.

        • What she means is that I will never purposely harm another, but if it doesn't cause true pain, it's my way or the highway. Okay, solving this should be easy peasy lemon squeezy.

  • Polaris would no longer be #1 in terms of GDP ranking, and amount of crime.
    • Club Penguin would be #1 in GDP ranking.
  • Polaris would decrease in land size by 50%.
  • Polaris to lower military protection.
  • Remains independent republic.
  • Quality of life to be around the 8-9 range.
