Before I begin this statement, let me be clear of what this order is not.

  • This is NOT a demand for my reinstatement as an Administrator.
  • This is NOT a demand for a revocation of the "Punish Older Users for Growing Up and Having Lives" Inactivity Policy.
  • This is NOT a demand to send Consensus to the flaming depths of Hell where it belongs.

Rather, this is a single demand, nay, a request.

ULTIMATUM[edit]

Explanation: the Contradiction[edit]

Right now, the Innocence Policy has a clause that contradicts itself in totality. Let me explain.

“ Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will ANY user bring up the topic, discussion, or conversation of sexual-wise topics, items, or behavior ON THIS WIKI, as we have children on here, either among us or visiting us that don't need to know what all of this mature topics are for a good 8-10 years, depending on who. ”
 

Good, good. This is all correct and right. -BUT THEN, look at the contradiction.

“ This policy does not forbid the mention of marriage and relationships in articles. Any character is allowed to have a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, spouse, or another marital partner. (TS: Notice it doesn't say "of the opposite gender.) However, the specific mention of sexuality (see above) in an article is prohibited. For example: "Joe is straight", or "Alan is gay". A better way of putting it is "Joe has a girlfriend, whose name is...", and "Alan has a husband, whose name is..." ”
 


Whoever wrote that has done what Sanchonachos only dreamed of. Sancho famously wrote articles trying to glorify and sanction Same sex romantic relationships (SSRR) and even legalizing it in his Mary Sue city, Polaris. I, and my friends, managed to stop it. It's why the Innocence Policy was written. Right now, this contradictory breach of site doctrine allows for the inclusion of SSRR characters on a children's wiki. That is wrong. That is an abomination. That shows our blatent disregard for virtue and decency that this website once upheld.

Sanchonachos isn't gone. Quite the opposite: he has won. Gay characters are legal on this site. Sanchonacho got everything he dreamed of and more.

The Demand[edit]

I request the ban on SSRR characters, themes, concepts, and articles to be reinstated. This is a simple edit to the current policies.

On the Innocence Policy, it requires merely the following changes. (These changes are italicized and underlined. Removed clauses will be struck.)

“ This policy does not forbid the mention of marriage and relationships in articles. Is that so hard? If you truly believe this site is supposed to be morally appropriate for small children, then you won't have any objections to this.

Since my opinions and reasoning alone has no value to a site whose administration consists almost entirely of my enemies, I've decided to leverage this drive to fix an amoral flaw in this website with something that will actually make people consider compliance.


Why Should We Listen to You?[edit]

"TurtleShroom, you bigot!" I hear you grumble, "Your ignorant, repugnant, hateful views no longer have a say on this website. Go away."

I thought you'd say that. That's why I plan on doing something to make you consider compliance.

I will not back down or compromise my stance that no gay character will ever taint this website. If it so happens that a gay character reveals its ugly head and it isn't fixed on detection, I'll order my work deleted off this suddenly Godless website. My content has no place on a website where cartoon penguins take lovers of their own sex. If the CPFW really wants to go down that path, then I don't want my work to walk with it.

Therefore, should the ban on gay characters, objects, articles, themes, items, and anything else in the mainspace not be reinstated within the deadline set, I will ask for the following articles to be deleted.

That's just the articles I was able to search.


Deadline and TS Absence[edit]

Effective tomorrow, I will be sent to a Special Needs' Camp where I will acquire basic skills to survive without help and be able to hold an actual job for more than two hours a week. For the next three weeks, contact will be minimal, if at all.

Following those three weeks, I should be gone throughout May, until June 7th, when I come home to go on a cruise!


Consequently, I see it fit to set the deadline squarely on June 7th, 2015 AD. You have until them to decide what is important. Are penguins and gay marriages more important than my articles and my work? That's yours to decide.


Recap[edit]

The demands of this ultimatum are:

  • A prohibition on characters taking spouses, partners, or lovers of their own gender.
  • Gay marriage of characters.
  • Actually enforcing the Innocence Policy and ceasing the policy's contradictions of itself.

These are simple demands.

Failure to comply will cost you dearly. Do you REALLY want to lose Penghis Khan?


Conclusion[edit]

A Godless children's website is a weak children's website. This should be easy for you to decide. After all, you claim to run a family-friendly establishment, right?


The clock is ticking. You have until June 7th.

You have valid points.

I'm not gonna deny that. There are some things we should instate and such to protect little kids' eyes. But, mind you, tumblr is (as you may know very well) a very... erm... open place for exploration and such, yet it is openly visited by teens and kids alike. But the solution to all that is not hardcore ban of x and y policies that are due to a "godless site," nor is deletion of articles the solution if your demands are not met. It will only create more problems. As such, going on tumblr and demanding it to remove all references isn't the solution either to it's problem. You, in contrast to here, are a minority of userbase. Your removal of your blog won't impact it.

My father taught me a very valuable piece of advice: "Don't give a (expletive) about people hating you, because there are too many people in the world." What does it have to do here? There are too many people on the earth to have you care about an ultimatum affecting this wiki. What you do will not end the world. What you do will not break the internet like Kim Kardashian.   • How does that talk about sex in any way? To limit romance based on relationships on gender would be sexist. The fact that you can't think of same sex romantic relationships without thinking of "<(censoded)>" shows what a sick mind you have. We're never going to take down ALL your articles because it's against the rules and they have too big of a continuity influence. However some of them are minor and could reasonable be deleted without fuss. Also, if you like I'm sure you could have your position on the Wall of Fame removed.

Atheism. 'Nuff said. Don't shoot me. If you think that same sex relationships are bad (which, while a bit awkward, is not bad at all), so be it. There's some users on this site and many, many people in our world who disagree.

  • I'll try to mind Bro's censor blog while still commentating. TS, that contradiction isn't a contradiction. "Alan has a husband" can have the same romantic/relationship purposes as "Joe has a wife". "Alan has a husband" shouldn't imply the "dirty deeds" in anyone's minds, those types of relationships can be just as meaningful emotionally and romantically as a "regular" relationship. It's not automatically about the "dirty deeds", it usually isn't whatsoever as a matter of fact (and whenever it is, it's only as frequent as "normal" "deeds", yet for the same romantic reasons. How is tolerance for a diverse group of characters considered "Godless"? What has God, or any other deity, ever done for this website? I'm really sick of religious beliefs being squished into everything TS stands for. Being a Christian is one thing, but using religion as a mask to hide your ridiculous behavior is another. I'm just saying.

I can understand wanting to keep a website child-friendly, but would you rather teach children at an early age that it's okay to be gay (or bi, or trans, or asexual, or whatever they are), rather than shield them from blatant facts that they'll discover for themselves later in life? It would be so beneficial to children who struggle with sexuality issues to see healthy examples of characters who are similar to them (and even chances to create characters like that, too!)

I don't know what your issue is with gays. Did a gay man murder your family or something?

Here's my ultimatum. Characters can identify themselves however they so desire, but everything is kept PG. Okay? Can we just agree to that? Wasn't that the agreement to begin with?
