Now that I look at it, I realize that the newspaper never said Gary 3000 was a robot. However, I automatically thought that since his inventions are always mechanical- and he knows how to build robots (the Test Bots). So, if CP doesn't show Gary 3000 at the Future Party, or doesn't specifiy that he's not a robot, I think he should be a robot/AI of some sort. Also, as I said on the blog, I think that it would be cool to give the Gary robots a similar story to that of Ultron. Plus, this story (gary 3000 as a robot) would tie in greatly with Robo-Gary :D WannaTalk? 03:19, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Well I was just guessing 100, overall it's the community's decision. However, here are some reasons I was thinking on the 100-200 area:

• In 2082? (abt. 70 years) Ed Island conquers it's first space territory and becomes the Intergalactic Empire of Ed.
• Multiple nations already have working spacecraft, as well as extraterrestrial colonies.
• With the robot Gary idea I had, he would still have to be alive to build the robot (unless we went with an EHDOS-type thing where his mind would transfer). Now, I'm not saying the robot would be brand new, robots can live a long time if you keep them maintained (ask R2 and 3PO :P). But, I don't know if the robot would be around for 1000 years no matter what you do.

Although I agree that Ed Island is very advanced in space work, so they are ahead of the game. It would take others longer to have that kind of access. So looking back my 100 year estimate is a bit too early I suppose. Maybe 300-ish years in the future? What is everyone else's thoughts? WannaTalk? 06:30, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

From a money standpoint, Shops would still be strained from 6 military conflicts within the past year (I would assume). Plus, interstellar colonization seems quite useless at this time, as it hasn't been effective for anyone thusfar. I'd suggest we just stick to our solar system :P WannaTalk? 15:23, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
