Welcome to the wiki! Users with newly created accounts cannot make pages at first, so I made your userpage for you. I hope you have a good time here, and feel free to ask if you need help with anything. --Chill57181 (Talk - Contributions) 00:00, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
I'm Penguinpuffdude, a user since 3 years ago; I'm not particularly active these days though, but I still hover about. Don't be shy to ask the community if you have any questions (if you have any); we have all done that at some point!
Welcome. I'm Radioactivechicken, a user who has been here a couple of years. If you do have any questions then I'll happily answer. You should be allowed to start your own pages in a few days, until then, you are free to edit existing pages.--Radioactivechicken, Contact, 0w0 what's this? 08:14, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
Welcome to the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki! We hope you can make continuing contributions of articles and/or discussion and other improvements.
If you are new to wikis in general, be sure to visit the "Community portal" for an outline of some of the main parts of the site and a link to pages that tell you how to edit.
Many useful tools and fun pages can be seen to the left, under the logo. Named the Sidebar, clicking on a blue link will take you to the page of choice.
Do keep an eye on the "recent changes" page, where all edits and their authors (both anonymous and signed-in) are listed. Bookmark it, maybe. (And help delete spam and vandalism - unpleasant but a fact of life.)
Discussion of any aspect of the site, and inquiries, can be made at Talk:Main_Page or on the "discussion" page associated with each article. It helps if you sign and date your contributions there, so that readers know "who to talk to" and whether your message is probably still of current interest. If you write on a user's "talk" page, that user will get an alerting message on next visit.
Remember to sign every discussion or talk page with four tildes (~~~~).
Feel free to fill out your user page so we can learn more about you.
As a Fanon Wiki, we encourage creative writing. To see what great pages are like, see the High(on the toolbar to the left) and Ultra Quality articles, for example the articles United States of Antarctica, Club Penguin Island, and Dorkugal.
- There are certain groups of users who handle this wiki. They are our administrators. Respect them, not just some of them.
Please read the new user guide to help you guide your way throughout the wiki.
We highly encourage you collaborate with other users, as collaborations built this wiki up.
Please remember that, unlike Wikipedia, the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki is censored.
We encourage your edits!
Thanks! And, once again, welcome to the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki!
Hey buddy, Penstubal here, I've been a user here since 2012 and am one of our oldest current users around. I'm still pretty active, though I don't edit as much as I used to, but I still browse the wiki every single day, so if you ever need any help from a veteran user, feel free to message me, I'll be right on my way to the case! --Penstubal (Talk) (Edits) 22:23, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
Welcome to the wiki!
BTW, you don't need to add [] and |center to files in galleries.
Also I'm not sure that TheBroMaster agrees withthe faact that you're using a character he created, you should ask his permission first. -- Quackerpingu (Talk) (Contributions) 09:37, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Don't worry about this message, the only reason Quackerpingu told you that is because Penguinpuffdude fixed the broken image on your userpage by replacing it with an image of another character named Red who was created by TheBroMaster, though I'm assuming you weren't actually intending to use Bro's character. --Chill57181 (Talk - Contributions) 20:19, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed you had some trouble with the image you were trying to put on your userpage. Images won't appear on the wiki until you manually upload them using Special:Upload. You can either upload a file directly from your computer, or you can upload it from a URL if it's already somewhere else on the internet. Just make sure not to accidentally upload over someone else's image if your image has the same filename as another image already on the wiki. I hope this helps! --Chill57181 (Talk - Contributions) 16:39, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
Here's a greeting from me as well! I'm not really active a lot around here, but I can help you out if for whatever reason everyone else simultaneously has to work on a research paper or something. Welcome to the wiki! :D I'm Wikipenguino45, a user on this wiki. Same as most people above, I'm not very involved in terms of editing as of currently, though I'm still around every day, so if you have anything you need help with, feel free to ask! -- Wikipenguino45 (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 07:56, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
RE: How do I upload stuff?
You should be able to upload files by clicking on Special:Upload and uploading from your computer or a URL. If you're not allowed to use it, then you might not be autoconfirmed yet. I'm not entirely sure how to become autoconfirmed, but you could try looking around the mainspace and making some minor edits like fixing typos. --Chill57181 (Talk • Contributions) 02:21, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
Good to see you were able to upload your image! Just so you know, brackets ( [ and ] ) don't need to be placed around an image when it's in a gallery. If you try to do that, it won't work. --Chill57181 (Talk • Contributions) 21:56, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
The picture's back up. For future reference, a good way to learn wikicode is to look at something that you know already works and copying that, and obviously changing anything that needs to be swapped out. Also, since you uploaded over the old image instead of creating a separate file, you don't need to replace it, it'll eventually update by itself. --Chill57181 (Talk • Contributions) 22:48, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
I probably won't be here around Christmas, so...
