Ah, friend, but you're forgetting something. EXPLORER MOVED AWAY FROM HOME. That means he lives separate from his sister and stepmother, and that means his sister isn't a major part of his life. Thus eliminating all the work we'd normally need to do. I would assume she and her mother visit every few years or so just to say hi and sightsee.

That's a great idea, we really should do that. OOC parameters define how characters are used and whatnot, and I had an idea for using subpages to list down all the guidelines to follow when using a character. I Deleted Osama

I've deleted the "Osama BEAN Larken" article. I feel that he shouldn't be part of the Fanon Wiki, even if he was created by me. Also, he is a human, and I disagree with humans on the CPFW... from now. He's worthless here. I know it's supposed to be funny & all, but... I just can't explain. We keep the TaliBEAN. But possibly change the name so that it doesn't reference as much to the Taliban. We can make a penguin of Osama, rather than having him right here. Also, a change of name. Here is my summary to the deletion:

He's alive. Also, he's a beast. I don't think he deserves to be part of our community anymore. Even if it's supposed to be funny. Everything about him will get deleted. I'll think about the TaliBEAN. It can be modified.

So I would be satisfied if we could work on re-writing the TaliBEAN, and make a penguin out of Osama - with a new name, and not referencing to him at all. NotAnEditor is correct, he shouldn't be here. He's out there. I saw it on the news. A quote from one of the Taliban.

"He is alive and well."

So let's start over. Hope you understand. He's done too much to my country, and I can't suffer it. Create a new picture with his dhoti and clothing, and make him look like him, but no more references than that. Let's get started.

Civil War

I was going and reading old congress bills and what not and saw the bill about the USA being used to much. I was wondering if I could create a new character and have another civil war in Pengolia giving the new character (a khanz) Some (a small amount) of land for a new state. And name it something ironic for the harsh Pengolia land. Like Niceland, Farmland, something like that. We could have it as a parody of [en.wikipedia.com/Greenland]. It could even be an island if you don't want a civil war.

Wow, you are so wrong. The reason why god destroyed those cities wasn't because there was gay people there. It's because the people were perverted adulters that wanted to mate with anything. Those guys were willing to bust down someone's house to mate with random strangers. It wouldn't make any difference to God if they were gay or straight. God (of the bible) may not like gay people, but in no way does he want them all destroyed. You really are a Christian, you'll believe that god loves all his creations equally, no matter what, and only destroys if they go to an extreme. Simply having a sweetheart your same gender is not "extreme".

I care for my country - and I know about your President helping my country. I've seen it all over the news. i understand of my luck. I only have 3 members of my family that are currently with me in the UK. I have a big family from my mothers and fathers side, and they currently like in Pakistan. Many are in serious danger over there. I am fortunate to be safe. I have only been there twice, and there's many difficulties there. Mosquitoes, sand, asthma, eczema, dust. My Rhinitis started because of all that while I was there. And yes, my people are in much danger. Not just my family - but everyone there. I salute to people there who I don't even know whenever I'm there. They take me as their brother - even the poor fortunate there. I speak Urdu - though I am unable to read & write it, however. I know about 60% of my language. I have to speak English reluctantly.

You are one of the users (and about the only) that actually care & know about these problems. I know that you are involved & know about politics. Afghanistan is our neighbourly country. Thank you, TurtleShroom. Americans to many British are "annoying" due to accent - I respect Americans. You've helped us in many ways, and even though South-Asians have many problems going on - we can get through it with your help. I try to watch the news - though it's hard as I cannot read what the headlines say. They talk so fast I can't understand a thing!

Iraq are neighbourly too - and they have more problems that us. They are closer to Afghanistan, and are specifically in danger. Terrorists disgust me. The World is not a kind place - you do not get all luxuries & life. Some live in tragedies.

The border touches the Punjab and India. We separated from them in the early 1940s. India is in a better state than Pakistan at the moment. I pray to Jesus too. To my faith, Jesus is related to my Lord.

Starting Over...

Well, now that we should be starting over our Tailban parody... I've been looking for pictures of penguins with turbans on their heads & all that stuff. And I found one particular image that could be the start of the new Laden. All I think we need to do to the picture is take off some bombs and replace them with a little editing by you... then we can work on another name.

OK, it's early morn, so I don't have a lot of time - instead I'm splitting these messages into seperate parts as I go along.

Yes, Linux is obviously fully customizable. There is KDE, GNOME, XFCE, WinodwMaker (which can look Christmassy) - I recommend WindowMaker if you used NextSTEP, otherwise use XFCE.

WINE runs a lot of Windows apps, and it has a compatiblity database at http://appdb.winehq.org - if it's not listed, try it! It runs W3.11 apps well, that in some cases modern Windows can't.

Here are the instructions:

Get that Xubuntu alternate! ISO, preferably using the Torrent, because the Torrent doesn't hurt the server as much. The result is same, I used the torrent and there was no carnage.

Burn that using whatever your prefer disc burning software is. You said you used Nero, though if you don't have it anymore, use InfraRecorder.

Insert it into the computer, and hope there is a BIOS or Bott Menu switch. Do the boot menu if you can, or if not, the BIOS. In there, select Boot Options, and make the primary boot device CD. Alseef and Gincari

You should make Gaseef Eal Gincari an uncle of Alseef. This could create great bonding towards eachother - and can be good for the articles! Considering they're both Terrastani. OK, The link is here: http://mirror.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu-iso/CDs-Xubuntu/9.10/release/ - you're downloading from Government servers that have kindly hosted the ISO in it's glory. It's legal, just grab it. When you actually install however (I recommend this one for a guide), it is a CMD you'll enter. For a simple GUI with a WMV player, word processor like Word, simple games (I can add more), and paint program (like Windows), type this in when you are logged in:

sudo apt-get install xorg gdm xfce seamonkey gnome-games vlc gpaint abiword xubuntu-restricted-extras bibletime menu

(I slipped a virtual Good Book in there, since you're Christian.) Do that, restart and you should be ready. Through there, sites like GNOME-Look provide a customizable look. Linux can be customized which whatever way you like.

You will need an Internet connection to install it, but it won't afterwards. I also forgot WINE, and we won't need a browser. VLC, Gpaint and AbiWord pretty much run like WMP, Paint, and Word, respectively. (they also have more stuff than their sisters, yet are simple) Your Windows games should work. Now that's been clarified, the new command for an install is:

sudo apt-get install xorg xsplash pulseaudio gdm xfce wine gnome-games vlc gpaint abiword xubuntu-restricted-extras bibletime menu

Wine runs old and new Windows games, and the accessories.

And yes, you can customize the startup and sound. See here: [2]. (EDIT: Xsplash instructions.) Remember I will tell you how to install a browser or more games when it has CAT-5.

Considering he'll be his uncle - there is no need for their surnames to match - but if you want the surnames to match, they can. And yes - the President in fact does share some of Alseef's personality. He loves winning (which I believe refers to Alseef), and a bit of competition & getting good out of winning (competition also refers to Alseef, and Alseef gets good grades out of winning, Gincari gets medals!)

Sound good? So that there are no plot-holes - we should first write it in their articles.

There's one where Xorai creates a clone of Xary and uses it to get Willie and Wishflyx to go against Maddieworld, but they realize it is a clone because the real Xary is still there.

Floodlight Act

TS, I need your help.

Seeing as you seem to be an expert on technical things (you did well with the FoF article), I request your assistance in writing the Floodlight Act of 2005.

The Floodlight Act proposed the installation of MILLIONS of floodlights in the stratosphere above Antarctica, thus simulating daylight to cancel out the perpetual nighttime in winter. It sounds crazy and non-feasible, but this time there's a need for it. Antarctica would be a dangerous place in witnertime, especially with no light to see by.

RE: Controversy

Thanks. Sounds like a good idea, though I want to point out some OOC-ness in the political stances of the states.

Ternville is pro-Light, primarily because they're always the city that gets to actually operate and see any structures that are built in the air (e.g., AiringJet). Also, Eastshield is pro-technology, and as such they would approve of the new technological advancement. Trans-Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula are more likely to dislike the change, they're more old-timey (liek u, lolz). The Sub-Antarctic Islands (particularly CP) are pro-modern, so they'll also approve for the same reasons as Eastshield.

Other than that, everything works out. I just hope you can also help with the technology involved, because you were excellent at describing the tech of the Festival of Flight in detail.
