Wait until I'm eighteen or older and then I'll try and get between you and the lawyers. I know my way around contracts and legal stuff, and I'm pretty sure that Disney- a company that I have always admired as benovelent and leaning (they never even persue pirated YouTube shows!) -would let you go through with your project if you signed a legally binding document that you would never make any money in the distribution of your epic product, that your product's source code (when completed) would either be Disney's or joint with you, and provided that you properly give credit where credit is due. In exchange, you can distribute it freely.

As for the CP mail not coming back, believe me: it's not that they're ignoring you, it's that you either contacted the wrong department, or that CP is telling the truth. I don't think it's in the Moderators' authority to grant you use of their work. When Disney bought CP, I literally mean that they bought CP, and all of its source code, techniques, trade secrets, and licenses. So it's not CP that you need to blame, but Disney.

Lastly, Disney didn't sic their lawyers on you, you contacted them and made it aware. You could have played the fair use card if you put on the title screen, credits, and elsewhere that "THIS GAME HAS NO AFFLIATION WITH CLUB PENGUIN OR WALT DISNEY STUDIOS, AND NO PROFIT OR REVENUE IS TO BE MADE WITHIN THE DISTRIBUTION OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT". Disney is a LOT nicer than, say, Viacom, who has such a vicious reputation against the fandom that they might go after us just for what we do right now. For examples, I point to Invader Zim, any SpongeBob clip that ever stood, and the Danny Phantom fans' work.
