YOWSER (acronym for You Owe Wealth in Stock Exponentially, Repay!) is the stock market index in Antarctica and Free Republics. The stock exchange was founded by some penguins in 2006. They currently hold abount 100 entries and 6365125 coins are in the market. Letter codes are often in 4 letters, but this no limit, as that king of limit is for practical reasons.
The market is currently falling, creatures are selling in knowledge that "stock sharks" will come!

Stocks[edit]
Stocks are basically very simple. A company would create millions of stocks to sell out to investors. Investors would pay a sum of money for the stock and therefore invest in it. Someone else may purchase the stock he holds at a higher or lower price. When a stock is purchased at a higher price, the seller earns money and the market is well. But when the stock is purchased at a lower price, the seller loses money and things go down the drain.
There are also dividends, equity indices and much more, but stock markets haven't really evolved in Antarctica yet, and it is under study by the Antarctica government.
Below is a list of stocks, their stock callsign and the last bid for a stock. The currency used here is Fish and one Fish is equivalent to 0.75 US dollars, 0.50 British sterling, 0.55 Euros and 58 Japanese Yen in reality (according to Google).

- Prior to Puff Flags's removal on the stock market, a secret, anonymous trader held 31% of Puff Flag's stock, enabling it full control over the company as it was the largest shareholder.
- Iron Walrus holds a mere 9% of his company's stock, Stank Industries
- Likewise, The Kernel holds only 1% of stock in YumYum to assert some ownership of EFF.
- Melvin Turtleheimer holds 51% of all Melvin's Big Flat Law Firm stock, to ensure lifetime ownership.
- Strangely, Mayor McFlapp holds 7% of stock in IConnect and 25% of stock in the Redlink network.
- No one is sure how YumYum's stock jumped from a mere 89 Fish to a whooping 389 Fish in one single day, making it the biggest ever change within a bid.
