Yesh Ruckoo is an ancient alphabet that was unheard of in modern times until an ancient library was uncovered with thousands of texts in Yesh Ruckoo. It was used (and is used, even to this day) by secret societies, instead of populations as a whole, as a standardized, cryptic means of communicating messages. (This would explain its recent "discovery".) Many, many creatures and institutions know about Yesh Ruckoo, apparently.
Documented usage[edit]
- Yesh Ruckoo was found in all four of the temples of the Regipastries: the Regiron Console, the Regifrozitron, and the Registone Mechanism. Aside from the library, the largest archive of Yesh Ruckoo documents were in the same temple/vault as the Gigaregibot.
- Yesh Ruckoo was the code of choice for the Necisties back in the days of Khanzem. The Naughtzee used it to send and receive secret messages about the war front. The code was never broken. Most of the Necisties are allegedly capable of interpreting Yesh Ruckoo.
- A script that resembles Yesh Ruckoo was found in one of the medicine cabinets in TurtleShroom's palace. It seems that either he or a guest left it there in a rush to use the toilet.
- Keziah seems to fluently write Yesh Ruckoo. One convention geek got her signature in that script!
- The absolute most top secret items in the Mattress Village Board of Censors are logged in Yesh Ruckoo by one of the six oldest Censors in the assembly. Yesh Ruckoo script is intended for items never to be published, but leaked documents show that the authorization for the Mattress Village Airport Incident raid by the city was in Yesh Ruckoo. The wiretap warrent that was issued in the Polaris Harborfront Incident was also written in the code.
- The "ancient library" where the motherload was found was surprisingly close to the Shiverpool Hoarde. Perhaps the two are connected.
- The writing in the Mausoleum of Universal Guardians is mainly in Yesh Ruckoo. Each tomb usually has writing in Yesh Ruckoo inscribed and several ancient scrolls are written in Yusk Ruckoo.
