"$$$'" (alternatively titled "Money") is a song by hip hop duo Uprising, consisting of DJ Crow and Joe-Q. It was released as the lead single on March 1, 2012 for digital download off the album Renegade Riots (2012) by Colossal and Stone Empire. The single was written by the two artists and the producer of the song, SKT and Destroy. The song received positive reviews with critics commending its trap-hop sound and use of an orchestra and choir towards the latter half of the song.
Artwork[edit]
The single cover follows the same text style and layout as other Uprising singles such as "Jethro" and "Penguins in Pengolia". It features a zoomed in corner of the Club Penguin Coin currency with the artists names written individually, the song title and album title in green. 'Uprising' is written at the bottom of the cover in the centre in white.
Composition[edit]
The song features two rap verses by DJ Crow and Joe-Q, appearing in that order, along with a chorus of two lines repeating between themselves. Around 2:30 the beat changes into an orchestra and choir-led breakdown, featuring an uncredited opera singer leading the outro of the song until the beat of the first half kicks back in.
