Ashien puffles (Moschomicrotherium pufflei fraxinus) are a highly intelligent subspecies of puffles, living only on the Island of Ashes in the Seal Islands.
History[edit]
Ashien puffles emerged as an intelligent community when pet puffles were left behind on the Island of Ashes, after the Ashian Kingdom fell due to the volcano eruption. They had learned certain behaviors from their masters and over time, they became more and more intelligent. It is not know how this happened without any penguin-assistance. The puffles were extremely common, populating almost all of the island, but another volcano eruption wiped a big part of the population out. Leaving only ~1,500 Ashien puffles left.
