Atumland is the seventh state of Snowiny. It's the third largest state/area in Snowiny, behind Snowiny itself and Puffepelago. It has the third best economy too, behind Ed Island and Snowiny.
History[edit]
Disgruntled Tomville resident Joseph D (whose family was well known for being stalked by Johnny 115) became officially divorced on July 30, 2013. With nothing to do, and some political status (he represented Tomville in Eastern Shops congress), he called up lonely Snowiny president Robert Smith and asked if he could have a state. Robert said yes, and on August 1, 2013, Snowiny's seventh state was formed.

These are the penguins in the government of Atumland. Joseph D and Robert Smith are currently the only people monitoring the state.

Cites and Towns[edit]
The capital and largest city of Atumland is Josephsburgh, named after the governor and founder. Since the state is so new, there are no other cities in existence. However, they are being built and are yet to be named.
Economy[edit]
Atumland's economy is very good. There are multiple shops here, including two Veggie Emporium stores, three McDoodles restaurants, a Boyota dealership (Boyota of Snowiny), and a large mall, called The Mall of Atumland. Combined, these places employ about 2,000 people. The average yearly income is 15,500 goldies, and while that's small, Atumland doesn't have many high-paying jobs at the moment.
Demographics[edit]
When the city was founded, it had around 35,000 penguins living there. Though the population has grown quite a bit, the next census isn't until May 2014. The population density is 2,004.3 penguins per square mile. There are 5,100 igloos in Atumland at an average density of 543.6 per square mile. The color makeup of the city is 50.2% Aqua, 25.3% Red, 15.5% Brown, 13.3% Black, and 0.07% other colors.
Out of Atumland's 5,100 igloos, 42.5% had chicks residing there. 61.7% were married couples living together, 20.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 10.0% were non families, and 8.3% were individuals.
Currency[edit]
Atumland uses the (like all other states) UP currency, Varoes.
Language[edit]
The native language of Atumland is English, since the governor doesn't know any other languages. However, some residents speak Frankterran and Snowinian.
