Axe Pingu was a famed Jedi Master, renowned for his Lightsaber swordsmanship, wisdom, leadership, and for being one of the best Jedi of his time. By the time he was in his mid-thirties, he earned a position on the Jedi Council, and about a decade prior to the Khanzem War he became the Master of the Order, which was the elected leader of the council.

After the Great Jedi Purge, Axe led a good number of the surviving Jedi Knights, both young and old, into hiding. Unfortunately, that number was small, and as the years passed, the sect continued to shrink in size. So, in the 1960s, Axe got married (which had been against the Jedi code at the time) and had a chick who they named Jaxson Pingu. It was planned for Jaxson to continue his father's legacy, and pass on his teachings. Axe passed away peacefully sometime in the 1970s or 1980s, leaving his son to fulfill his legacy and keep the Jedi Order alive.

• He was and is still regarded as one of the best Lightsaber wielders of all times.
• He is one of the only recorded Jedi to have had a Purple Lightsaber, as only blue and green were readily available at the time.
• He is a partial parody of Mace Windu.
