The Battle of Nexon was one of the key battles during the Fall of Nexon. It took place in the sea, air, and on the ground. Devastating blows were delivered mainly to Nexon City and the beaches where most of the ground combat took place. It was costly on both sides, with the casualties rising into the thousands of dead penguins.

Both belligerents had been anticipating a battle of this scale since the very beginning of the war. Numerous failures from both sides had created heated tension, and a burning passion to overcome one another swiftly. Emperor Octavian had grown tired of his troops retreating. Shopper President Lavender had become weary of their prior firepower being insufficient in taking any more land than the beach they had occupied. Vince, sick of his generals retreating from every battle, stated that he himself would lead his troops into the next battle. Lavender had also ordered over 40,000 Shopper tanks to be placed on the beaches, and many ships and soldiers in preparation for a massive assault. As both sides prepared, tensions grew and espionage on the Nexonan's part became more and more hostile. Experts believe that the actual trigger of the battle was a Nexonan attack on the Shops City Financial Center. On October 18 2013, Shopper and Snowinian forces attacked a band of Nexon's forces amassing not far from the beach. On October 24th, there was a temporary ceasefire for the day to honor Club Penguin's eighth anniversary. The fighting resumed on October 25th, the same day it ended, with a costly allied victory.
