Lesley Blake Gordon, better known simply as Blake, is an Calada-Antarctican recording artist, rapper, songwriter and actor. He was born in Offario, Calada where he starred in the hit television show Newfinnli, later rising to prominence as a rapper, releasing a wide range of critically-acclaimed material before being signed to Lotta' Coins Entertainment and working closely with Young Wade. Blake mainly incorporates rap with R&B, creating his versatile style of music that the public either love or hate. Blake is the founder of April's Known Angel (AKA), his own independent record label through which he first distributed his mixtapes.
Throughout his short but successful music career, Blake has released two albums and an EP. The extended play, Grown Ever Since (2009), spawned two hit singles which threw Blake into mainstream stardom. His first album, Praise Me Soon (2010), charted at number one across the nation, which included some of his best-known songs such as "Finished" and "Search for Love". Blake's second and most successful album Stay Safe (2011), topping charts in Antarctica and beyond, also producing multiple hit singles that include "Banners", "Stay Safe", "I'm So Ashamed" and "The Motif". Blake's third studio album Some Things Never Change was released in late 2013.
