Brant Esser XI (commonly known as just Brant, or Brant11) is the current President of Acadia. He is currently known for being President and leading his country, but in the future, he will serve four terms and was known for leading the country through wars such as the Snoss and Shops Civil War until resigning in 2035. He is also a High Penguin.
Brant's best friends are Travis Howe and Ryan Crosby, both of whom fought with him in the Antarctic Revolution, and the latter being his childhood friend, and now his vice president.
Before becoming President he was the Acadian Ambassador to Freezeland from 2005 - 2010, before becoming Member of Parliament from 2010 - 2015, and finally President starting in 2015. He is also known for many books about the history of his family and his wife's.
History[edit]
Childhood[edit]
Brant11 was born on April 5, 1990, in the Province of Acadia. He was born in Esser Mansion, his family's home for 400 years. Much of his life was normal, and his family was rich, which meant they could afford daily necessities and enjoy many luxuries, a rare thing since the king's crippling taxes prevented people from becoming rich.
At a few weeks old, his family moved to Penguin Town, since his mother was getting homesick for Penguin Town. His father joined the local legislature, and they bought a nice igloo, right next to the Hochstadt family's.
He went to an average public school, where he met Ryan Crosby, who would be his lifelong friend. After school, the two trained as ninjas at the dojo, where they met Swiss Ninja and his brothers. They practiced at the dojo for a few weeks, before becoming ninjas. However, they stayed to train other ninjas and to master the elements.
Colonial Antarctica War[edit]
In 1999, the Colonial Antarctica War started, and the lives of Brant11 and his friends changed forever. As he and Ryan joined the Revolutionist cause, Swiss founded Snowzerland, Clovis moved to Francterre with his brother Gaston, and Fisch moved to Snowzerland with Swiss Ninja. Sometime in the war, he joined the Acadian Patriots with Ryan.
For the next few months, they fought in many battles such as the Battle of Rockhopper Island, Cream Soda Creek, and Alemaniantown. Around this time, he met two penguins, Dominic Smith and Travis Howe, who would one day be his friends. Ryan was captured in one of the battles, and Brant11 arranged for his release. In 2000, he fought in the Battle of York Street, and traveled to Acadia after the war.
Founding of Acadia and Adulthood[edit]
In late 2000, he helped draft the Constitution of the Republic of Acadia, which founded Acadia as a presidential republic with a unicameral legislature. Greg Cleanington, the general of the Free Acadian Army during the war, was unanimously elected President by the new Parliament.
He spent the next few years in Penguin Town, in what he called a "vacation" for five years. During that time, he wrote a number of books, two of them being A High Penguins' Tale, and The Fight for Freedom. He also witnessed the transition from Penguin Island to Club Penguin Island.
In 2005, he got married to a daughter of a Club Penguin shopkeeper whose name was Allyson, whom he had met during his time in Club Penguin. The two got married in her igloo and a large two week party was held. After the wedding, the two returned to Acadia, where they moved into Esser Mansion, where Brant was born.
Shortly after returning to Acadia, Brant was appointed as the Acadian Ambassador to Freezeland. He and Allyson moved to Freezeland, where they rented a luxury apartment in Frostborough, near the Acadian embassy. He also took this time to study his family history, and wrote and published the book A Tale of Two Families in 2007.
Ambassador to Freezeland[edit]
In 2008, Brant and Allyson's daughter was born. The couple named her Abigail. Despite being born in Freezeland she was given both Freezelandian and Acadian citizen-ships, since Acadian law said that ambassador's children meant that they would be given Acadian citizen-ship.
In January 2010, during his last few days as ambassador, Amluc Riam, Triskelle's prime minister, threw a rebellion against him. Brant and his family were loaded onto a helicopter and evacuated out of the city. Acadia joined the ensuing war the next day.
Return to Chinstrap and Member of Parliament[edit]
Back home, Brant ran for a seat in the Acadian Parliament. He was already famous, and won the election easily. During his time in Parliament, there were a number of Great Snowzerland Wars, and since Parliament voted whether to join wars or start wars, Brant and 98 others in Parliament would often decide Acadia's fate. In Parliament, he was gaining popularity, and planned to do something bigger, running for President.
Presidency[edit]
Five years later, in the 2015 Election, Brant found himself competing with richer, older, and more experienced penguins. He was only a young Member of Parliament. Many campaigns called him "inexperienced", and "too young." However, he countered their arguments with the words "It is not age that counts, but experience. For example, Shopper presidents Bro and Lavender worked their way up, and they are both younger than I. I have been an ambassador and Member of Parliament before this, so I know the government well. Because of that, he won the election, beating his opponent by barely 5%.
After becoming president, he immediately started to restore relations with Snowzerland, since Acadia fought in the Great Snowzerland War VI, with SATO. He also started relations with Snowiny, which helped Acadia's entrance to the Western Union in April.
Future[edit]
In the future, in 2020, Brant was reelected President of Acadia, because of his good leadership of the country. He continued to make Acadia better for the next five years, improving the military and economy.
By the end of his presidency in 2025, the Shops Civil War started. Seeing Brant's experience in the past, the people of Acadia decided to vote for him again, hoping him to lead Acadia again. He decided to keep Chinstrap neutral, a decision liked by many penguins.
In 2030, the Snoss Civil War started, and the people decided to vote for him again. He still decided to stay neutral, but sent secret aid to the Republic of Snowzerland and he sent CIA agents to spy on the Snoss Confederation.
In 2035, his term ended, and he decided to resign, also making a law saying that presidents could only hold two terms, fearing a dictatorship. By now he was getting tired, despite being only about 45.
After his presidency, he settled into his estate in northern Acadia, where he would stay for the rest of his life. For the next few decades, Acadia changed from president after president, until one president was elected in the year 2500.
The president turned out to be a dictator, and crowned himself emperor. He started to take over numerous helpless small countries. However, Brant organized a resistance army and overthrew the dictator and the republic was restored.
Over the next few hundred years, there was rebellion after rebellion, and each time, there would be a resistance army. Also, around this time, Brant found himself communicating with Clovis Hochstadt, the now King of Castilla.
Death[edit]
The Time Agency and the BOF are currently finding out how he died, but they think he died in the year 5000 when a devastating nuke destroyed all of Antarctica including Acadia.
