Chris Star
Chris Star (born December 22, 1985) is a singer who entered The CP Factor 2014. He finished the show in third place and since then, he has sold a few records and an EP. On July 31, 2015, Star released his debut album "Promise Me".

2014: The CP Factor and career beginnings

In May 2014, Star auditioned for the first series of The CP Factor. He sang his own song "I Love You More" in his audition, he received three "yes" votes and progressed to Bootcamp. Star was placed in the "Over 25s" category at "bootcamp" and was mentored by Sam Rudi. He successfully made it through to the "Judges' houses" and was later chosen by Rudi for the live shows, along with Cody Lambert, DC Mac and Jack Johnson.
Star was voted into the bottom two in Week 6 against another one of his mentors' acts, DC Mac. Star sang Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. Rudi and Dancing Penguin both voted to save Star putting him through to Week 7, whilst Cadence would have done the same as O'Riley questioned her for her opinion.
Star progressed to the live final and finished the competition in third place on 11 October, 2014.
