Club Penguin Fanon Wiki:Important Announcement Regarding Club Penguin

So, for those of you that might not have heard yet- Club Penguin is shutting down for good on March 29th,
in favor of the "Club Penguin Island" app.

This is a sad time, but I come bearing at least one piece of good news. Though the game itself is shuttering its doors, our wiki isn't going with it. Though Club Penguin is in our site's name, and is an important part of who we are, we can't give up all that we've done simply because Disney doesn't like the game anymore. In fact, it's time for us to do the opposite- to continue carrying Club Penguin's legacy, and our own, through a new era. There may be tough times lying ahead, but we've survived the struggle for years while CP was going downhill, and I'm sure we'll survive (if not prosper) through the times ahead.

I'm not yet sure how the future is going to affect our canon and continuity, but that'll be something for us to figure out together. Just know that whatever happens, I'm not going anywhere, and neither is our wiki as long as there's a community behind it.

Whatever happens, I will also stay until the end. Holidays and travels will torment me from coming on, but "I will hang on the boat in the storming sea, until the boat hits a sudden decrease iceberg covered in (PUN ALERT) thousands of blue blistering barnacles in a thundering typhoon (sorry, bad pun) and begin to sink like the Titanic into the emerald depths of the database, only to be inhabited by Google Waves." - Me from one of User:Twozenos124's blog posts.
