Club Penguin Fanon Wiki:Moving
The Prank
After an important staff discussion, it was ultimately decided that the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki will be moved off of the Club Penguin Wiki Network due to limited activity and the drama that happens on a weekly/monthly basis. All staff have agreed to this move. The fanon.clubpenguinwiki.info domain will be closed on May 1, 2013, so all active pages and files must be moved before then. The original plan was to have Fanon move to TropicalWikis, but Tux refused to let Fanon move there, as he would like TropicalWikis to remain as drama free and mature as possible.
You guys as a community are faced with the decision on which of these two wikifarms Fanon gets moved to. You have Wikia and JumpWiki. The final decision must be made by the administrators of this wiki by April 10, 2013.
The discussion took place on March 29th when an anonymous user brought the proposal of Fanon departing from the network to the staff. It has come to our attention that common rights abuse from the administrators were becoming more prelevant, as well as the bullying of other users. This does not represent the Club Penguin Wiki Network in a good fashion and we cannot continue with this inappropriate behaviour.
Keep in mind that all current bureaucrats and administrators will remain in their positions after the move is complete. The staff will happily support the move up until May 1st, when the domain is closed indefinitely. This decision is final.
