Uhhh[edit]

I don't know if adding new awards, like TS did, is allowed, someone please correct me if I'm wrong? ULSK12TalkContribsYoutube Working on a story! OO DriveMax Ultrazord.jpg 23:10, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

Sure, wynaut. ULSK12TalkContribsYoutube Working on a story! OO DriveMax Ultrazord.jpg 23:30, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

WAHAP[edit]

We should have at least 2 options for each category, so it makes sense. --Ami H. Parkea (Just kidding, it's Fooly! And here's a talk page.) 02:08, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

...what? ULSK12TalkContribsYoutube Working on a story! OO DriveMax Ultrazord.jpg 16:11, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
I mean, how could there be a vote between ONE nominee? --Ami H. Parkea (Just kidding, it's Fooly! And here's a talk page.) 16:16, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Oh yeah. That isn't too much of a problem since most categories are broad enough to do that, but I dunno about TS's new "Nacho Award". ULSK12TalkContribsYoutube Working on a story! OO DriveMax Ultrazord.jpg 16:44, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Honestly, I find that the Keysaber Award and the Nacho Award are less necessary than other awards in the roster. Can't find good candidates for them either. --Ami H. Parkea (Just kidding, it's Fooly! And here's a talk page.) 18:01, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

AWANAWARDADA[edit]

Is there any award for the best fanon interpretation of a canon character?

"For Fun" category loophole?[edit]

The general rule for the For Fun category is this:

The For Fun category is for the lighthearted and/or unrealistic pages. Any nominations classified as realistic, politic, military-ish, or in any way related to countries will be disqualified.

However, it has come to my attention that the Frosian War, the biggest war on the wiki, has been nominated for the Best New Story and is currently in the lead. As of now, the award's rules are this:

To qualify, an article must be a story page, and must have been created between December 2013 and December 2014.

I don't know what should happen; should the general rule for the For Fun category not be absolutely required in all situations? I made the "Best War" and "Best New War" categories specifically so the military operations could be nominated in the awards. ULSK12TalkContribsYoutube 12/26/2014: Returning to Korea after 525 days. If Frosanian War wins the Uni Award, the Luke Seafloater Award will cease to exist. I think Frosanian should stick to Luke Seafloater Award. --Ami H. Parkea (Just kidding, it's Fooly! And here's a talk page.) 01:05, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

oh man this took so much to do[edit]

For Fun[edit]

For Glory[edit]

For Attention[edit]

Thinking of the future[edit]

Will we do this next year?

If this event is repeated next year, should we use this year's victors as the award name AND design for next year?

Also, we should have had an award for the best fanon interpretation of a canon character.

I agree to all. --CAN'DUH Bro Talk to me! OH YEEEEEEAH 00:49, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
I surely think this should be repeated next (this) year, but we could definitely change a few things. Firstly, I think we might want to reduce the number of awards and think them through a little better, as well as looking over the "rules". This is because a few awards didn't have a winner, due to either nothing being nominated, or an overlap in the rules where an article can only win one award. As for the awards themselves, I honestly think we could do without naming every single one after something, and having the "award defaults". I'm sure we can sort through all of this earlier this year than we did last, maybe September or early October. Oh another thing, next year we could include the major awards in the ceremony (Overall Article of the Year, Quote of the Year, etc), possibly in a category all their own. So, we'd be integrating Featured Article of the Year and Featured Quote of the Year into 2015 CPFW Awards? Sounds cool. Also, I would still design the awards after the winners, though the award names themselves would not be named after who the trophy is modeled for. Finally, I agree on that. I believe the ones who didn't get no nominations should be deleted, as they're unlikely to get more (I have no idea what is the Nacho Award), with the exception of the Uni Award, as there were votes for that, but it had to be disqualified. --Ami H.
