Diana Mossjuv (1802 - 1836)[edit]

Diana Mosjuv (neé: Mosjuv) was the first in the Diana family to be actually named Diana. The Dianas descended from the Mosjuvs, which was their actual surname. Diana Mosjuv worked as a farmer in the Principality. At the time, the prince of Sherby Hoodwounds could only marry a princess from another country, usually extracted from the monarchs in the Swiss Archipelago. Diana Mosjuv gave birth to Diana Mosjuv II in 1824. Diana Mosjuv died in 1836.

Diana le Juan (1824 - 1871)[edit]

Diana Mosjuv II was the daughter of Diana Mosjuv. Due to poor working conditions in Sherby, she moved to Snellstope, a small island kingdom in the Sub-Antarctic. The king of Snellstope, Carlos Juan III, married Mosjuv II after meeting her at a farmyard. She was crowned as Diana le Juan in 1840, at the age of 16. The next year, the two gave birth to Diana le Juan III. The reasoning behind this was that Diana le Juan was the second in her family to be named Diana, and her baby was third, so she had the number III, while retaining the "le Juan" surname. She died in 1871, five years after the marriage of Diana le Volutua and Undergoug.

Diana I (1841 - 1920)[edit]

Diana le Juan III was the princess of Snellstope and the first Princess of the Principality of Sherby Hoodwounds (late). She was born in 1841 to Diana le Juan and Carlos Juan III.

After Carlos Juan III passed away, his only successor was Diana le Juan III. She became Queen at the age of six. As a proud civil rights supporter and argued for the rights for female penguins, and in 1861, she stripped all sexist laws in Snellstope.

She married Undergaug le Volutua in 1866, thus becoming the Princess of Sherby Hoodwounds. Snellstope soon merged with Sherby. She gave birth to Diana le Volutua II in 1869. In 1873, Diana le Volutua assassinated her husband while he was at a function. She crowned herself princess of Sherby Hoodwounds, hereby signalling the start of the Diana dynasty in Sherby Hoodwounds.

As princess, she passed a law in which female government officials were allowed to be elected, becoming the first country in Antarctica to do so. She stripped all sexist laws and passed that her daughter would inherit the throne after resignation or death, and not her son. She renamed herself Diana I and said that her children's future husbands must follow the female's surname rather than his. Diana I passed on the throne in 1896 to a thirty-year-old Diana II. She remained as Queen Godmother until her death in 1920.

She is based off popular female civil rights activists that heralded the start of the 20th century.

Diana II (1869 - 1922)[edit]

Diana II, originally Diana le Volutua II, was born in 1869. Her grandmother, Diana le Juan, died two years later, while her father was assassinated by her mother another two years later. Diana II would take on the throne in 1896 at the age of 30, and retire from her throne in 1920 at the age of 54.

Diana II was a charitable woman. She performed many trips around the country during the 1870s and 1880s, and discovered the poverty that penguins suffered despite new measures trying to curb this. When Diana II retired from the throne in 1896, she became Princess and started many welfare services and charities to help the poor. She also encouraged the arts and sciences, which helped spur the Third Golden Age of Sherby.

She established good contact with Poleland, and thus, when the Republic of Poleland was conquered by Whoot Smackler Whoot during the Khanzem invasion, Diana II imposed curfews and ordered armies to be at all fronts. She personally helped in healing services, being a medically certified doctor. When Khanzem was gone, the curfews were lifted. Many praised her for such actions.

Three months after the curfews, though, Diana II would resign from her throne, stating she "had to pass on to another generation of inspiring leaders". She was thereon called Lady Diana. She died in 1922 when papparazi tried to photograph her with a penguin named Miguel, and her chariot ran smack into a mountain tunnel, causing her to die instantly.

Diana III (1895 - 1955)[edit]

Diana III, originally was born in 1895, a year before Diana II's ascension to the throne. She ascended to the throne in 1920 at the age of 25 and abdicated in 1938 after massive unpopularity.

Diana III was known for being a spoilt brat. She passed on the duty of handling country affairs to the Governors and Ministers while she enjoyed the privileges and luxuries of royalty. She was most well known for ignoring the Melancholy and keeping all the money for herself while her citizens suffered. Many classic Sherbian artwork and literature were targeted at mocking Diana III. This defiance heralded the beginning of Sherbian satire.

Eventually, a rebellion was organised that seeked the oust of Diana III. She abdicated was replaced by her younger sister, Maria-Diana Opalston, who promptly succeeded her at the peak of the Melancholy.

She later lived her life in relative seclusion. In 1941, it was rumoured that Diana III migrated to Archet. In 1947, Diana III was accused of embezzling money in the Royal Bank during her reign and had to pay five hundred thousand pebbles (inflation not accounted). In 1951, an interview conducted at her home in Penguville. She later recalled,

"I feel utterly regretful for my actions. My reign was a disaster and I failed to see the light. I am no better than a murderer."

She died in 1955 after a failed surgery at removing a tumour.

Diana IV (1904 - 1990)[edit]

Maria-Diana Opalston was born in 1904, 9 years after Diana. She was Princess of Opalstene, named after her, until she ascended to the throne in 1938 when her sister abdicated from the throne following public appeals. She thereafter changed her name to Diana IV.

She was known for her hard-flipper on corruption. She said that her sister managed to nearly annihilate the nation and she would have to have a hard stance on corruption and money affairs to ensure it didn't happen again. Conservative in nature, she boosted the economy greatly and fired two-thirds of what Damil Serbut did in the Kingdom of Sherby Hoodwounds half a century earlier. Although her country's gross domestic product almost double in volume, the income dispairity tripled and her implementation of capital punishment caused the BoF to monitor her activities. Closely.
