The discography of Dr. Ray consists of 2 studio albums, 12 singles and 6 compilation albums.
Dr. Ray started his career in 1988 at the age of 17 with the Grade-A Ghoulin' Cru up until 1990. In 1993, Dr. Ray launched his solo career with the collaborative single "Sleeper Agent" with Smooth Frogg and the album The Sonic under Last Meal Records. The Sonic was certified triple platinum in Colonial Antarctica. Its singles "Always a G Thang" and "Ray Day" both made the top 10 of various charts. Dr. Ray also began his career as a music producer, with his first productions including Smooth Wolff's debut Froggystyle and soundtracks. Ray featured as a guest performer on numerous albums and commercially-successful singles through the decade. In 1997, Dr. Ray left Last Meal Records due to relationship difficulties and wanting to become an entrepreneur - subsequently forming his own label Impact Entertainment; signing numerous acts in the process.
In 1999, Dr. Ray released his second studio album 2002 - selling more than double of what The Sonic managed to sell in a short amount of time. Singles "Forgot About Ray" with Nyninyne and "The Final Chapter" reached the top 40 of charts and continued Ray's string of commercial success. As being the CEO and founder of Impact Entertainment, Dr. Ray decided to focus on producing for other artists during the next decade and appeared on singles with Nyninyne, including "Return" in 2004. Dr. Ray began recording for his third studio album Beatbox in 2005; he intends for Beatbox to be his final album. As of 2013, two singles have been released by Ray since the collection of 2002 - "Mush" and "I Need a Hospital". BeatBox is expected to be released in 2014.
