Everlaunchers (1993 - 2006)

Everlaunchers, inc. was the first company to use the Everlauncher/Everlaunch brand. It made two games consoles, the Everlaunch Game Console and the Everlaunch Game Console 2. It is currently the longest running games console hardware company. From it's founding to 2005, it was owned by itself. In 2005 it was bought by Snowtendo as a wholly owned subsidiary. It was later integrated into Snowtendo as a division in 2006 and production of the Everlaunch Game Console 2 was handed over to a number of companies (although the Everlaunch brand was still maintained).

Rumors had it that Snowtendo would allow Everlaunch to make a games console called the Everlaunch Game Console 3, to expand it's market to rival the PBOX-360, which had games for the older market while the Vii was targeted for the family. Later, pictures of a ported version of Penguin Kart being played on a games console, were released by Everlaunch workers, proving that an Everlaunch Game Console 3, since the game console had the Everlauncher brand on it. However Snowtendo shut down the Everlaunch division, fully integrating it's workers into Snowtendo. Snowtendo continued to maintain the Everlauncher brand.

The brand was sold to iConnect for 22 million fishes. iConnect reformed Everlaunchers. Many ex-Everlaunchers employees were recruited on board. Later, the IceyGamer received the Everlauncher. It was added onto SnowTek, renaming it Everlaunchers SnowTek. Rumours have it that the Everlauncher brand will be added to Penguin Web Browser and the Ice Shard, so that iConnect can concentrate on it's governmental-targeted projects. iConnect had denied this. Another, more widespread rumor, is that Everlaunchers will be reviving the Iceboy and developing it into a series. Everlaunchers hasn't commented.

Background[edit]

Prelude[edit]

The Dan-Wachen Game Transmitter was made by Dan Beronows I and Wachen Stevens, under the name Dan-Wachen Game Transmitter Company, the forerunner of Everlaunchers. Originally restricted to a few local stores. The selling of the games were licensed to a local business, Launch4Eva. Two penguins from the Jones Family noticed it's potential and invested in Dan-Wachen Game Transmitter Company and Launch4Eva. This lead it to it selling Antarctic-wide - and this was in the first two months. Those doing courses in some form of IT at university began making third-party games, which were illegal. Dan and Wachen threatened to sue them however the students raised funds for it to be legal. Dan and Wachen accepted this and this set the scene for future game developers.

Dan and Wachen announced that they'll be developing a sequel to the original games console. They had enough funds to do so. The Jones investors suddenly went backrupt and were forced to sell their original stake to Dan and Wachen. This included the Launch4Eva company. To avoid confusion, as the new games console was released, the company was renamed Everlaunchers, with the name coming from Launch4Eva.
