Inspiration[edit]
The inspiration for "Flipper Zone" was, as Meaghan stated, "Having fun in a called 'Flipper Zone' in which only us could enter"
Lyric plan and Rumors[edit]
Meaghan said she was going to add lyrics to the song, but then in a press conference on March 20, 2010, near the release of the song as a single, she said the lyric addition was cancelled, again, in a press conference in March 25, 2010, at the release of the song as a single, the lyric addition was again in a standby.
Also, there were rumors that said Meaghan stealed the song from a beggining singer, and the rumors also said that she changed some of the melodies in the song, Meaghan said that she made it in the instant she was recording, and it was improvisation, and she had nothing to do with the song previously said.
Certification[edit]
It got a Golden certification from RIAAC (Recording Industry Asociation of Arctic Countries). Flipper Zone didn't had a good certification as other ones from Camouflage.
Music Video[edit]
The video is at a club, and Meaghan is dressed as a police officer. Then we see Meaghan entering the club and we see Meaghan again, but dressed as herself, in a VIP zone at the club. The police tries everything to get into the Flipper Zone, but fails. At the end Meaghan invites the police inside. The video is directed by Meaghan, Childpengu1 and DJ Crow.
