FlyStar Airways is the flag carrier of Flystonia, and is based at Flystar City International Airport. The airline has 26 fleet and has over 31 destinations across the continent. The airline is run jointly by the government and a private air company. The company has also a frequent flyer program, known as FlyStar Points as well.
History[edit]
The airline was founded by the Flystonian government in 2009, as a state-run airline to replace SensTer Flight Services. The airline began short-haul international routes, with Snowing 747-300 aircraft. The airline was soon bought by a private company, who currently handles 50% of the airline, along with the government. In late 2009, the airline began ordering it's current fleet of Snowing and Airhail aircraft, hoping to start service in February 2010. In April 2010, the orders were delivered, and the airline began international service at the time. Today, the airline is one of the fastest growing airlines in the industry, and is considered to be one of the most affordable.
