This is an idea that I've had for quite a long time. It should open up a new world of articles for the wiki.

Ever since our wiki's creation, we've written about our characters, places, and events in the present tense. That is, most of our content happens in the present times, or nowadays. Only a handful of articles document the past, and even fewer are actually set in the past. Furthermore, we've never written about the future -- what it would be like, what changes would come for our charatcers, what would happen to the places that we've set up for characters to live in...

This idea should change it all. Here's what I propose -- by adding subpages to mainspace articles, we can write in three different time zones: past, present, and future. For example, if you want to write about the childhood of Explorer, just create the article "Explorer/Past" and fill it in as you would with a normal character. If you want to write about the future of the Lichenblossom Isles, just create the article "Lichenblossom Isles/Future" and fill it in as you would with a normal location. The templates {{Past}} and {{Future}} could be added to past/future pages to notify the reader which time zone the article is in.

So.... whaddaya think? I really look forward to putting this idea in motion. Yours "Falsely", Explorer 767 (The Nerd Quibbles On...) View this template 13:39, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Great minds think alike Explorer. I was thinking of this too. I agree! --HappyfaceWantsToTalk 04:22, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree with the Future part, but I think the Past part should just stay on the main page in the History column. That's what it's for!--Sir Kwiksilver of TARDIS-Someone set us up the bomb. 23:53, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree with all of it! This could be very useful. Though I think it would be better to just write it on the original article, but we could go with this too! -- N-Sig.PNG ¤ (User page!) (The Cookie Master, bow!) 17:46, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
