Gerald Vaughn-Dare Ling III, abbreviated and well-known as as Gvdl3, is Puggie4276's maternal uncle, and Gvdl4's fraternal twin. Gvdl3 is older than Gvdl4 by 12 minutes, and the elder enjoys music whilde the younger, Gvdl4, enjoys boating and seafaring.

Gvdl3 was born March 29, 1957 in present-day East Bank City, Antarctic Peninsula along with Gvdl4. Growing up in the Water Kingdom, Gvdl4's love of the sea was naturally respected, and it would be this way for the next 26 years. However, they got along fairly well, because they both did respect the Water Kingdom.
Gvdl3 wrote music singles on occasion, but were not very popular so he worked at Frys Chalet. Gvdl4 worked at Eastshield Fried Fish, which worked out fine, but you know it went wrong. In 1983, EFF sued Frys Chalet, and the siblings were locked in rivalry until the end of Olde Antarctica. The STINC conquest of Antarctica got the Gdvl brothers back together again, warding off their homes from STINC. They held a solid fraternal friendship until the present day, and on a vacation, they were some of the few to actually get away with documenting the freak storm that took the life of the infamous Ivan Jones.
